I will be going Jaco in February for about 5 days and was wondering on what prices to expect and negotiate for the chicas by the hours and Todos Noche. I will definitely visit the Cocal and other places mentioned on this forum but want to be prepared and get a general price range. Any guides will be appreciated.

The Del Rey has tourist vans across that will take you directly to your hotel in Jaco. I believe it is $130 or so.

Interbus is good for about $50. Comfortable shuttle that picks up and drops off at major hotels. Book in advance.

1. Lots of massage places in San Jose. But you'll need a map or list of addresses at least. Which I don't have.

2. All street action in San Jose are trannies. Or the odd female that has been kicked out of everywhere else because of extreme drug use.

3 and 4. Cocal is not a compound. It's a hotel casino. Basically the only game in town of that type. If there are any freelancers they will be coming or going from the Cocal. Hence similar prices. Nothing within any driving distance. It is San Jose, or the Cocal in Jaco. More or less. Sure, some will argue with that. But for practical purposes. That is it.

And no. Not every girl you run into is available. Especially if they are with their boyfriends or friends. Assume they're not available. If you value your life.

Good insight. Except the comment about going after someone with their BF. That's pretty obvious. I only asked because a few girls told me that was the case.

Long time monger / member with multiple, extensive reports on Rio, DR, Panama and Colombia. Currently living in Medellin. Looking at my first planned mongering trip to Costa Rica. I think my sweet sauce will be to arrive and spend the first night at Hotel Del Rey in San Jose, then spend three to four nights at Cocal in Jaco Beach, then finish up with a night at Hotel Del Rey prior to my flight out. Here's what I'm wondering.

1. What are good mongering spots relatively close to HDR and what price should I expect there?

2. Is it safe to search for / solicit street meat near HDR on the surrounding streets?

3. What are good mongering spots outside of Cocal in the little town area just outside the compound? What prices should I expect from freelancers on the street or at the nearby establishments?

4. What are good mongering spots in the greater Jaco-Jaco Beach area? I have been told pretty much all girls you might run into are available. Is that true? What pricing should I expect to pay with these freelancers? I will have a car, so anything within a 15-20 min drive is fair game.

Selina is an international hostel-hotel company, I believe based in Israel. I seriously doubt they allow those kinds of guests. If you hooked up with a fellow hosteler. Maybe.

Spent the weekend in Jaco at the Cocal. First visit back in two years. The chicas are pretty hardened pros at the Cocal. They are definitely clock watchers so plan for exactly one hour unless you make a different agreement. The hottest chicas (young and thin) are asking $200 and accepting $150. Although I did have one very hot one accept my $100 offer but I think that was lucky because I caught her stepping out of her taxi and she decided not to pass an immediate score. Even though it's a tougher game here than other destinations I'll still return occasionally to enjoy the beach and always a good group of fun loving guys acting like kids in the candy store. Makes for a great long weekend trip!

Or is the airbnb more difficult for the mongering scene. Travelling with some friends, hence some are leaning towards those options verse hotels.

Just compare what you find with the houses listed on the JacoVIP or other bachelor party sites. Those would be chica friendly. Or just ask directly what their guest policy is. Most houses that don't allow guests will say "no parties or events".

I have not seen any bi sexual girls in Costa Rica. It is there but need to find it. Nobody openly advertise their sexuality ina conservative world. You are dealing with freelancers. So no help from mamasan or brothel manager.

I guess talk to many girls and they may or may not point to the right girl. Then discuss what the girl will do or will not do and ofcourse price.
