So I figured, a 4 or 5 day trip would be a good break even. The airfare ranges from USD 350 to 1000 so cheaper airfare can accommodate shorter trips.

You will be fine. You can bring girls back to your hotel, you just have to keep track of your valuables while they are in your room. People are afraid of Centro because they are not from or familiar with areas that are economically diverse. That includes Colombians from higher end neighborhoods by the way.

Tbh when I watch videos on youtube of El Centro in Medellin I'm confused as to why people are so afraid, the streets look fairly clean, the people don't dress like total bums and most people seem to be working or walking to work & tonnes of police presence are in the area. The only thing I notice is that the Botero hotel avenue looks a bit run down & the streets are always crowded which means there will be pick pocketers present.

I know in my country (Jamaica) I always see naive white tourists with backpacks walking around shady areas or going to parties in complete ghettos that most normal people in the country wouldn't go to & I may be wrong but I feel that it's these types of tourist who get caught with their pants down the most.

I personally don't plan to walk around centro with a lot of valuables on my person nor care to bring back girls to my hotel nor withdraw $ from the ATM's in the ubicacion, these are things I don't do in my home country so I wouldn't do it in Colombia either.

Hopefully I see atleast one of you guys on here around the area during November 6-20th, if so we should get a drink.

2 weeks ago walked in New Life. Went with a group that required two taxis. Drivers split up on "accident". Half of us ended up at New Life the other taxi at Energy.

The girls in New Life had round numbers hanging from their lingerie. We walked to a big blue door with a huge white metal gate inside. I Guessing to keep out maybe the cops or robbers LOL. Pressed the buzzer. A few seconds later the gate made a loud click and unlocked. Myself and 3 amigos walked up about 15 concrete stairs and we're treated at the top by a short Asian or Hispanic lady in regular clothes. She said please and points to a room with maybe 8 chairs. We sit down and while walking I noticed another room with about 5 guys in there next to ours. And another lobby with 2 guys in chairs. All gringos haha. The prices for 30 mind or 1 hour were posted on the wall. Literally like 25 dollars. She brought us all beers. We laughed as from our waiting room we could see guys walking up an down from the upstairs holding absolute stunners hands. Heading to or leaving heaven hahaha.

The chicas filed in one by one. "Hi I am Angela number 6," then shakes all of our hands one by one the walks out and into the next waiting room. "Hi I'm Pamela number 4, Hi I'm Louisa number 8, . " After approximately 20 or so women, the train stops. The woman walks in and says "you like? My amigos are already on their way back from Energy to meet us. We respond ummm give us a sec our friends are coming. Then I see the prettiest one, easily jlo mixed with Kim Kardashian walking up the stairs with a guy. I literally slapped my forehead as she was going to be my pick! No way I'm waiting an hour for her and then touching her two seconds later after him hahaha I know I know. But I at least pretend they aren't all this way hahaha. Back on topic. My amigos walk in. The whole line up and 6 new ones come in and do the whole spill. I immediately take the the 2nd best imo. A little MiLfy vibe. Easily 40. With everything inflated like a blow up doll hahaha don't judge me. Her big fakes lips and unrealistic boobs was on my bucket list. Amaaaaaaazing session. I was able to get a picture of the room so you can see what the rooms are like. Also my buddy snapped a photo from energy. Long story short he said the girls at energy were a little better than the girls the girls at New Life. He said more curvier chicks but I'm sure it's subjective. Below see the room and then a few chicks in Energy. It appears Energy dressed their girls in the same clothes and on Halloween they all had on costumes. New life was kinda wear what you want as girls were topless and lingerie and some with more clothes on. Bill for an hour with beer was 82 k pesos. This was almost unfair and amazing the same time. And cheap.

Been to both places, downtown kingston and medellin centro and you're not going to have issues as long as you use your common street sense. Just don't let your guard down and don't attract attention to yourself and don't be drunk. Simple rules and everything will be Ire. You are going to have a fantastic time. The chicas are sweet and its point and click in casas, and manageable in centro. Keep a low profile whenever possibe. And stay around where people are, avoid isolated areas/alleys etc. That worked for me. Using the metro was dead easy, and allowed me to get my steps in every day I was there. I mixed a lot of toursty things in with my trip so didn't care for more than the 1-2 HR of company for the day, but you have all sorts of options there. Not sure how your spanish is, but every extra word you know helps.

Anyone that have come across my post knows my ultimate goal her is to give us mongeres a leg up on these Canabal man eating chicas hahah. Sometime I just think if things to share from my pov. No really who has more experience and boots on the ground than the chicas! Not a single one of us have more first hand insight than they do. I literally had this concern last month when heading to Cartagena. Every place seemed anti visitor. Or are they. Is this just a cover up to appear as if they do not market or tolerate sex tourism? So I reached to every single chica in my phone with the CTG next to her name. I message all the chica on Photo PrepaGos. Even once that I had no interest in. I easily sent out 50 messages. I go back 20+ boot on the ground response from my little unknowing scouts. Convo went like this. " Hey love, I want to see you when I arrive in a few weeks (the bait). But I just found out my Hotel appears to be non guest friendly. There's no way I'm willing to stay 6 days in this city and not be able to see you. I'd rather spend time with you in a nice comfortable hassle free place where we can really enjoy the nice modern location than in some love motel! (The hook). Where are you're favorite hotels or apartments to meet clients. Specifically a place that when you come, I don't have to. Blah blah" (the reel in). These chicas responded Every time. "Que rico amor" as if she feels like this will really benefit her long term. LOL jajaja they listed 3 or 4 of their favorite guest friendly hotels / air bnb locations. That is simply a lead. Look into the more commonly mentioned places. Now I'm not doubting there will be some proximity motives and plans from a few chics but I noticed a lot of the same hotels in each of the responses. And even a lot of the places with guest policies that are "not enforced". I specifically target the Venezuelan chicas too. A lot of them have no ID for this place and know where to go for "Hassel free". One chick even told me which guards to name drop at some of the hotels. Which turns into a simple 10 to 20 k pesos and a high five. Overall the chicas are an amazing resource for this. I can not suggest a specific place in Medellin outside of Air BNBs. That's my golden nugget. Specifically from the group "life afar". They normally have a key to the main entrance. I've yet to see a security guard at their apartments. Which is my personal preference. But I do see cameras in every hallway and stairwell. Just pm the owners of your Airbnb he / she are normally respond with a thumbs up or down. But for anything outside of that pick the chicas brains if you don't think the mongerers here will share in enough detail! Or. If your tired of the RTFP responses hahahaha things change lets keep asking the same questions. Creates new content and we stay in real-time. The Mansion has the similar concept as the Del Rey, but the setup is very different. Where as the Del Rey has a casino, a very large bar, a sizable lobby, and a multi room dance club (key largo) across the street; the Mansion is a small hotel with basically nothing in the lobby, there is a small bar with a small dance floor and a small outdoor area attached to the Mansion. It is open only to the guest at the Mansion. This small bar closes between 2-3 am, where as the Del Rey opens 24/7, some of the best chica I have ever picked up at the Del Rey is around 6 am. In my opinion, the girls at the Mansion is on the same level in terms of looks as the Del Rey but they are cheaper and the service is better. The Mansion is in the middle of nowhere, you need to take a taxi or Uber to park lleras (it is close to the mansion, but not walkable), there you can find better looking girls at a higher price.

Mush Elvii, thank you for the great report. I'm going to Medellin for the first time in December and I'm thinking about staying at the Mansion. I will be there for 5 days and am debating between staying at the Mansion or at San Peter apartments / airbnb. Or should I split it up and stay at both places. I've been to the Del Rey in San Jose CR before so was thinking that the Mansion is similar to that. Is that a good assumption? I'm assuming that they don't charge a chica fee at the Mansion. There are no "girly drink" prices, and beers are cheap. So feel free to grab a girl and have a drink with her and chat.

Think of it as a time to relax and have a drink and look at the extremes of the human condition (and body) on a bustling street. There are diamonds in that rough though.

I'm throwing my hat in for positive experiences at El Centro! Been to the street behind the church probably 4-5 times. Yes, I'm a gringo, and my Spanish is "muy malo. " Been solo, with another dude, and with other gringo females who just like watching crazy shit. Have also pulled some phone numbers while there, to call later. Also been to some sketchier-looking places down the street. I've been during the day, and pretty late at night.

I've never had any issues in any of these spots. I also stayed in Mandarin Oriental #2 barrio in a casa Antigua for over a month, and had a dozen gringos visit me over that time, including my female family members, and no one had any issues, although we were constantly told how dangerous it was there. It wasn't. Both day and night.

This is not to say robberies don't happen. Or that my short experience isn't representative. I just think a lot of the fear gets overplayed. If anyone would like to join me in El Centro between Nov 23 - Dec 2, let me know.

I only use Scotiabank when I want to withdraw pesos in Colombia. Any city. I don't have an account, but their ATM's work 100% of the time. You should be OK.

My issue is that I have a Visa Debit card from Scotiabank, never owned a credit card in my life & I've never used this card at a ATM ever overseas either so I'm scared it won't work & I'm left stranded in Colombia with no pesos for 2 weeks. I'm probably just paranoid but I think I will just bring some USA the & try to use the ATM's & hope I can get cash out.
