I will be in the Philippines early next year and in preparation, I have not only RTFF, but cut and pasted many, many report excerpts for future reference. Having said that, it doesn't mean I don't have a stupid questions or three. Mainly because I can't find the specific answer to the question I have. Hopefully you guys can help.

Although I have never been (yet), I have a feeling that I may want to try working towards retiring there if I can make it happen, but I have much to learn and only 3 weeks to absorb as much info as I can while I am there.

Among the several questions I will be posting in the near future are:

    1. Suggested itinerary.

I am not only going there to monger, but would like to be able to supplement my sightseeing itinerary with it. I have a mind to fly out from Manila the day after I arrive to Palawan, where I plan to visit El Nido, Port Barton and one or two other island in the area I haven't decided on yet. I am not sure how much time I should allocate to this.

From there to Negros to see White Beach and maybe a few other spots, then to Bohol, Cebu area and Sirgao. I will fly back to Manila with the plan to spend several days of pure mongering before flying back to Georgia.

I would like to know what itinerary you experienced guys would suggest to a newbie arriving on a Monday in Feb on a 3 week stay?

    2. Time allocation /'winging' it.

I know that some areas of the Phil specifically want you to submit your itinerary before boarding a plane for that destination, but I want to be able to 'wing it' per se. I may fall in love with a certain area and decide to stay a little longer (or leave earlier if I don't like it). I may also want to change my itinerary spur of the moment as fresh info comes to me, and fly to a different island I hadn't thought about before when originally planning the trip in my cold basement back home.

Is it possible to purchase one-way tickets from island to island on a whim? Would enough seats be available to allow me to do this, or is this even allowed? Are some islands more flexible with this idea than others?

    3. 'Girlfriend' availability.

I am sure this varies from island to island, but how doable is it to find a non-pro girlfriend on each island that will join me in my adventures without a dating app? I am in my early 50's, but I look much younger, as I have never been married and am not raising any kids. I am average height / somewhat fit build (w / a small gut), a "cute" face (according to my female coworkers), and I am a tad bit shy, but do have some game, (though not much, admittedly).

And if I need to use an app, then I don't want to spend too much effort on one that will not yield results. I am leaning towards PL, Tantan and DIA. Also, should I start working on this now, or do as I have read once or twice to not worry and just turn on the app when I am in the area locally and available?

    4. Phone suggestion.

My Samsung Note 8 takes great pics and vids, and I know I need to get a burner with swappable SIM card when I arrive in-country. I would like to be able to take good quality pics / vids with whatever phone I get. Any ideas on this?

    5. "Arrival announcements" thread.

Is this for meeting up with a wingman when you arrive in country? I believe I can trust a fellow monger even if I had not yet met them before, but the concept is odd to me. I could see setting myself up for trouble or possible robbery if I were to meet up with the wrong person. Am I again being strange? Maybe the monger community is far more of a brotherly fraternity than I would otherwise believe, and a forum member is a brother and a friend.

    5. Safety and theft.

I may purchase a Pacsafe travelling bag for securing my goods in the room, because I am paranoid about staff being able to open the safe when I am away. Am I too paranoid? Have any of you guys had an issue with room safes, or do any of you use the Pacsafe bags? Do any of the cheaper places NOT have room safes, or is crooked hotel staff not something I should even bother worrying about?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated and I thank you all in advance for your replies.
First of all, you will need to learn to count. You have 6 questions. Not a few but 2 #5's. Math will be very important when you convert $$$ to pesos.

Upon flying into Manila you will need to fill out the immigration form and check the "tourist for non-mongering activities" box.

You have plenty of time to study up on flights before arrival. There are 3 airlines. Philippines Airline, Cebu Pacific and Air Asia. They all have websites that you can research flights and cost. Good thing is during EST the websites will not suffer any delays as it will be night time in PH. I suggest you buy your seat assignment upon the ticket purchase. BTW, upon ticket purchase you will be able to see the available seats. I suggest you buy all airline tickets online even when you are in PH.

You DO NOT need forwarding tickets out of arriving PH cities. Repeat DO NOT. You only need a departing Philippine ticket upon arrival into Philippines.

You will need an "unlocked" GSM cell phone. Please google this if you don't understand it.

I suggest you go on Amazon and buy a Blu Vivo XL4 cell phone for $99.99. It will be all you need. WiFi capable and strong 4 g-LTE.

The WiFi on this cell phonemay not work well in USA but will work perfect in PH.

Spend $50.00 more and get a Blu G9 cell phones for $149.99.

You can carry your credit card hidden in your sock if you are worried.

No need for a wing person. Wing it.

Bring a Pacsafe for your peace of mind.

    Lost wallet in the Philippines?

I am concerned also about either losing my wallet or it being stolen. I plan to keep another card separately stored from where I keep my main wallet as a precaution.

What kind of backup emergency funds plan do you guys have? Will the ATMs allow access to any bank in the world, wherever I have money stored, or would it be worthwhile to open an account in Manila, or whatever.

    Thanks in advance.

    A few to add

Very thorough study. To add a few more: price level might slight higher, cotton club in EDSA has closed but you can still find quite a few bars over there. Enjoy your visit!

Cut and paste mongering guide to manila

I read the last several years worth of posts in preparation for my first trip to Manila and created a summary for myself by cutting and pasting posts from dozens of people. Thought that other first-timers might find this useful.

    MANILA. GENERAL MONGERING INFO.

Two principal red-light districts in Manila, Makati (Burgos) and Ermita / Malate (EDSA). Makati is the financial center of Manila. Ermita is a bit sketchy. There are in fact 2 different price levels in Manila; in Burgos bars and EDSA you have to spend a total of around 6000 peso to get a girl LT. This is very high price for a third world country like Philippines, but the quality especially in some Burgos bars is really high and according to most reports also their performance in bed is top class. Freelancers in bars like LA Cafe, Havana Cafe, streets, other bars etc. Can be had for 1500 - 2500 peso LT. There is no need to pay any more and you HAVE to negotiate. I have pulled girls from bars and street and also Havana but I always start or counter with 1500 LT. If they decline I move on to the next one. I understand that if you meet a real diamond you want to stretch the budget, but if you are caucasian and not too old there is no need to pay more than 3000 peso LT no matter how hot the girl might be.

Hotels: Fairmont (first choice) and Peninsula Hotels (2nd) and Shanghai-La (3rd) are high end and guest friendly.

Grab is best, Uber doesn't work. Taxis may actually be cheaper.

    https://dreamtravelonpoints.com/how-...and-in-manila/

    WeChat or Viber for texting.

For most high quality girls, plan to give at least 3000 pesos for all night.

    5000 pesos = $96 USD.

    4000 = $77.

    3000 = $57.

    2000 = $38.

    1000 = $19.

    MAKATI (BURGOS).

BURGOS STREET (higher price 6000 LT total): Kojax / XOXO (best looking? PlanB (tall slim girls?) and Bottoms (buxom girls with best in bar action?) are the top 3 clubs in P. Burgos Street. Also, look in Mirrors and Tickles.

There are another dozen or so clubs on this street. But the quality and quantity won't be as good. When I was here last, I had a great time in Kojax and PlanB. There is another sister club of Kojax named XOXO, where the girls share duties through the week. XOXO is on the ground floor and Kojax is on Level 1. Now on to pricing. The barfine at Kojax, XOXO and PlanB is set at 3500 pesos. The girl will expect another 3000 - 4000 pesos for her company and services. It is wise to discuss everything upfront to avoid an uncomfortable and disappointing exchange later. Drinks at the club are priced at 300 pesos I think, can't remember now. So you are looking at a total of 10 k pesos on a single night. Mirrors bar is also very good with beautiful girls and has happy hour with half price bar fine of 1950 (from 2-7 pm). Lower optics at Dimples and Bourbon (but still might be worth a look), which also have happy hour pricing. Went to Tickles and it was crazy as usual. 4 or 5 girls mobbing every guy, drinking, petting, grinding, and xxx if you wanted for drinks and tips. Asked about taking two girls but the mama wouldn't give a discount (3500 each for the bar plus 3000 tip each plus 1000 bar tab).

Costs for a Burgos bar girl in sequential order:

    1. SML for monger = 200 PHP.

    2. Lady drink for candidate 1 = 390 PHP.

    3. Another lady drink for candidate 1 or for candidate 2 = 390 PHP.

    4. Bar fine = 3,900 PHP.

    5. Tips for waitress and mamasan = 100 PHP.

    6. Dinner for girl after 1st pop = 1,200 PHP.

    7. Girls payment LT = 4,000 PHP.

    8. Girls taxi money = 200 PHP.

That makes a grand total of 10,380 PHP. In South Sea Pesos that's $346 or USD $207.

System: Buy one drink for yourself at minimum. If you want female company, you are expected to buy her a lady drink, which costs 2-4 times the price of your drink. If you want to take her home, you have to pay the bar fine, which is 10 times the cost of a lady drink. You can deduct the cost of lady drinks from the bar fine. BUT MAKE SURE YOU ASK THE MAMASAN FIRST. For example a common lady drink price is 390. The bar fine would be 3900. If you buy her 10 lady drinks, then the bar fine is waived. If you buy her 5 lady drinks, then 1950 is deducted from the bar fine. She will stay until morning, and you also have to pay her a tip between 2000-5000 depending on the girl. Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights are the best.

FREELANCERS NEAR BURGOS: Royal nightclub near Burgos is good for FL Called "freelance heaven". (3000 LT). XYLO at the Palace nightclub is good for younger FL.

    https://www.thepalacemanila.com/xylo/

GREENBELT 3: (lower price 1500-2500 LT) Cafe Havana is a business in Greenbelt 3 right beside Seattle's Best Coffee. Greenbelt is a mall set out in five buildings with a green park area in the middle. Freelancers hang out in the seating area outside the café, but communications may be little more than winks and smiles, because they don't want to be run off by the businesses. Beware of ladyboys hanging out at the fringes of the area. You might like this café area because it's not a loud bar scene. Also, near Glorietta's and opposite Shangri-la and the area near Starbucks is a freelance scene. P1500/2000 all night full sex.

    ERMITA / MALATE (EDSA).

EDSA (higher price 5000 LT): A lot quieter than P Burgos and you will get a lot more attention from everyone. From my experience hands down hottest girls I found to be at EDSA, which opens at 7 pm. It's far from Makati which sucks. Best bar in EDSA is Cotton Club. I liked Firehouse and the Samba Club. Samba has gogo dancing. Great girls and slightly less expensive than my favorite 3 Burgos Bars.

LA CAFE (lower price 1500 LT-2500 LT): Parts of Ermita can be pretty dirty. Be careful, don't wear jewelry, and carry only enough money for food, drinks, and taxi if you need it. Walk confidently but always pay attention to your surroundings. A principal destination here is LA Café. Even if you don't like bars, every man should experience this meat market at least once. These are all freelancers, many are ugly, but with patience you can find some gems. Read back through the Manila thread for field reports from LA Café. I've always liked the place, but others see nothing but ugliness there. Prices here are probably a little higher than you suggested in your post, but don't be afraid to negotiate. This is a good place to go with a wingman. LA CAFE is cheapest and place of last resort. I don't particularly like LA Cafe, but it is a scene. My advice would be to take a look in LA Cafe around 1 am after you have barfined and enjoyed a ST session with an EDSA bar girl first. LA Cafe upstairs is much better. The price level at LA Cafe (among the cheapest in Manila): I always quote 1500 pesos and 80% of the girls will say OK. Some will not budge under 2000 peso, but they stay all night. I have actually never met a girl in LA Cafe that do ST. If the chemistry is reasonably good and she do not have work in the morning she will be happy to stay all night and share a breakfast with you in the morning. Do not forget that these girls are desperate for money.

ABACCA MASSAGE: Mabini Street, Malate. Walking distance from LA Cafe. Abacca Spa. 90 min with prostate massage 1200 p.

G POINT BAR: Many fewer women here, and I have been told the management discourages open soliciting. But there's no question there are freelancers here. You might be able to lure one to your table with an offer of food. Food's not great, but the servings are huge, and the women here will not turn up their noses at it. There are a few other smaller bars in Ermita with freelancers, but you need to spend time reading the forum to learn about them.

ROBINSON'S PLACE MALL: Near Starbuck's. Sitting at the tables at the railing, facing the atrium and upwards escalator, are 2 large, white columns (one on either side of the escalators). The mama and her girls are usually at the white column on your left as you face the escalator. She shows 11 am-12 noon, the only day she is not there is Sundays. She is hard to miss, she is flamboyant, late 30's, chubby, short light brown-reddish hair. She approaches many unaccompanied white men as they pass, and she will follow them up the escalator. She hugs, she cajoles, she insists you get her phone number (or give yours to her for an instant txt). If you have communication apps she can send you pics of her many girls. She usually has 2-3 girls standing in the atrium area (not necessarily at the white columns), often standing together between the white column and Starbucks. If both / all of her girls are gone with customers she has more in reserve on her phone (with pics). Also, just walk around and make eye contact with unaccompanied women. If they smile, they're probably available, because good Filipinas don't flirt with Westerners. Smile back; sometimes they will greet you. This is a giveaway. Just start talking to them.

    NEAR THE AIRPORT.

    Flight 168 Massage.

Flight 168 is definitely a full service bordello. The setup is very similar to a high end BKK Soapie. Basically, they offer customers a couple of different fishbowls each composed of different quality or different rated girls and Flight 168 prices their girls accordingly.

Customers also have a choice in the quality of room where they take the girl. I forget the names, but it's something like 1st class, executive class, and coach class. The 1st class rooms all have jacuzzi tubs. When I was last there the VIP class girls where located on the ground floor fishbowl, one floor beneath Airforce 1 and next to Flight 168's lounge area. 168's regular girls where somewhere else. All customers must enter the building and walk through the lobby of Airforce 1 in order to proceed to Flight 168. There will be a friendly host in the AF1 lobby to greet you and show you where you want to go.

I recommend that you take a look at the 1st class girl's fishbowl. It is not like they are all hot, but usually there are 2 or 3 girls that shine above the rest and more than meet my spec. And shagging a good-looking girl is the whole point of visiting a place like this if you ask me. The best time to come is around 7 pm to have the opportunity to select from widest assortment the prime-time girls. There used to be an early bird 1/2 price discount if you come before 5 pm. I don't know if that is still in effect. I think it might be.

Service in the 1st class rooms includes soapy jacuzzi time, BBBJ's, and covered sex on the bed. DFK, DATY & 69 depend on the girl and the vibe you establish with her. Service in the cheaper room is the same as in the more expensive room except that there will not be any jacuzzi fun time and the beds are smaller. I have had great sessions and just ok sessions in Flight 168, so no guarantees, but I never had a bad session. Thus I give the place a thumbs up and recommend it to you. I will add, however, that the hottest girls are in AF 1 not Flight 168. Ha Ha. But AF 1 does not get started until late and you better be prepared to spend well over 12,000 p if you want to shag an AF 1 girl.

The total cost (girl and room) in Flight 168 is between 5,000 p and 7,500 p. The bill is prepaid like at a BKK Soapy. But like I said, at Flight 168 the bill is broken down into its two component parts so you are charged for the room whichever room you select and charged for the girl whichever category girl you select. Credit cards are accepted. Tips to a girl for good service are voluntary, of course, but greatly appreciated.

Flight 168 also has a lounge area so you can relax before, after, or in between a session. They serve a buffet at certain times and a la carte food items at other times although it is not cheap. Any type liquor is obviously available. In any case, it would be very easy to spend 4 or 5 hours or longer in this bordello and shag a couple of girls while waiting for a flight. Depending on your flight times, I imagine an outside hotel might not be needed.

One thing I would add about Flight 168 (or pegasus, or classmates, etc) is that you want 2 pops to speak up before you start the deed (but after you enter the private room). In my experience, most girls are alright with 1,000 php for the first in addition to the standard 2,000 php tip. However, the first shot may be limited to just BJ so up to you to negotiate. Also to minimize haggling, I would also suggest that as you speak to the front desk person (either before or after you pick from the fishbowl) to say I've been here before and please tell the girl it's 2,000 php for tip. It's a pretty standard tip so really no need to pay more regardless of the type of room you pick.

    AREAS TO EXPLORE.

Quezon Ave area: Kremlin Spa, Sylvanus Health Club, Heartbeat Mega KTV, Pegasus KTV, Classmate nightclub, QC Bar KTV.

Sounds high for the brand name. Suggest you go yourself to the pharmacy or better yet, just go generic.

There's a blog thread at the bottom of the Phils board about the Viagra dialogue. Although the last post was two months ago, there should be lots of good info there. Better yet, check out guys who have posted there and pm them. They'd probably give you details.
