What is the likelihood of meeting a doable chica at the Metromall?

I'm impressed, very progressive plan. The Courtyard isn't across the street, it's in the same parking lot as the Mall. MetroMall is a middle-class level mall. You're going to see multitudes of brown to black curvy local women, many might fit your criterion of "doable". Meeting them will be easy. Convincing any of them to join you for a romp next door, with or without compensation, is a question I can't answer. You'll certainly need to be fluent in spanish. A search for metromall on social media should get you an image of the types of women you'll meet.

Otherwise, the timing of your layover could lead to an opportunity. During the day, maybe a day rate at the Crowne Plaza or Riande near the airport arranged in advance with some whatsapp contact would be feasible. Or a dash into the city for a quickie at Bocatorena and La Mayor, though traffic could be terrible returning to the airport at rush hour. At night, it's easy to taxi into the city (30 min) and check out any of the places written about here.

Thank you, TP. I booked a room at Marriott Courtyard 5 miles from airport because there is a Metromall across the street from the hotel. It will be a Sunday. I hit up several Panamanian chicas on Cupid but no response yet. What is the likelihood of meeting a doable chica at the Metromall? Anyone been there?

Returned last week from Pty. I'm going to keep this simple from all the posts regarding fees and Alejandro's. Spent 3 nights at Eurostars after Hyatt was completely booked. I had a parade of nuggets joining me every night from a packed Habanos and not one time did anyone say a word. It was my first time staying there and I couldn't have been happier. Nice affordable room ($53) great sports bar (World series and NFL games on) attached to the casino, cold beer, free breakfast on 26th floor, pool on the 27th with a killer view of the city and most importantly only a 40 second walk to Habanos. I did 2 things to guarantee entry with a chica. First only enter Thru the casino and the elevators are 40 feet on your right side. 2nd I brought a light jacket and asked the girls to model it as we entered. Keeping their 36 DD's under wraps tends to help. Automatic. The security guards at the casino even opened the doors as we waltzed in. A buck or 2 tip doesn't hurt either. Habanos was out of control. The posters claiming Habanos was on the downhill obviously has not been there. Standing room only with the Colombians and Venezuelans beauties hanging out next door and lined halfway to Beirut restaurant. Regarding Alejandro's, I'm always looking for a new watering hole and opportunity. Quite honestly I was hoping it was as described. Not much going on. I was in and out quick. Follow my advice you'll be enjoying your time in Panama City with a smile on your face and a few extra bucks in your wallet. Enjoy.

When I visited, it was around 10 pm. But without any signal, I downed my beer and headed to Habana Cafe that night.

My experience exactly. Minimal attention from staff and virtually no chicas. Had one drink and headed straight to Habanos, which was jam packed with lovelies.

The Chica fee issue has been going on in Panama for at least the last 15 years. Not sure if it is the President or if other hotels have caught on but, it has gotten worse over the years. I agree they are basically saying "we detest you bringing a prostitute into our hotel but, if you really want to okay we will charge you this outrageous fee. " Then they find out its fairly lucrative to do it.

The hassle factor is what bothers me more then the money. Anyway, I have and still recommend renting an apartment or airbnb. You can find very nice and clean centrally located rooms, apts etc for less then or the same price as the hotels. Takes all the stress out of it. Chica Friendly hotels are the number one topic on the Panama board and it really is a problem which is easily solved.

Ran into this problem in JW Marriott and it was embarrassing, also even in Colombia they started doing this. It really is stupid am paying so much for a room I should be able to bang a prosti when I want.

On a Sunday with minimal traffic it is very easy to accomplish all of this in eight hours. Mystic / Intercontinental / Hard Rock is in the downtown area but its the closest part of downtown to the airport.

On our wake back to the states from Medellin we connect through Panama Sunday Morning. Purposefully, we choose the eight hour lay over. When we land, we quickly clear customs and, jump in a cab to Mystic casino sportsbook. Spend the next five hours or so watching and betting the NFL games. Sometimes we find a girl or two strolling around sometimes not. If we see something we like we run over to the motel and take care of business. On a Sunday with minimal traffic it is very easy to accomplish all of this in eight hours. Mystic / Intercontinental / Hard Rock is in the downtown area but its the closest part of downtown to the airport so with traffic it will cut maybe 25 min or so each way off the trip as you don't have to maneuver around the downtown streets. Just an idea.

I had the same experience as you, though I was relatively early. Almost like a standard bar, I received very little attention even from the waitress tending to my table. It has promise, but seems like it needs to kick things up a notch.
