Is the restaurant The Old Dutch and is on soi Cowboy? Does the ST hotel has a name?

Penny Black also on Cowboy has ST rooms, however I won't say they are any better than Asoke Place. I prefer Asoke Place for subtle reasons. Did not notice mirrors. Soi 4 and Soi 7/1 Aspira have ST rooms, as does Ruamchit Hotel at times. I really down know much about mirrors.

Yes Asoke Place is low end. It has a bed, aircon, bathroom, toilet. As long as I am not stabbed by bedsprings poking through, or a very smelly drain, I am okay I have seen absolutely foul ST Hotel rooms in the past elsewhere. There are probably higher class rooms elsewhere. Maybe PB Hotel (sub soi off soi 3) is a good one to try and ask for mirrors.

You can't meet all your requirements for standard and nearness and still be ST prices. If too fussy, take a normal Hotel.

At the risk of repeating myself.

Grand Sukhumvit is reported as not joiner friendly.

Dynasty Grande was OK last I stayed (3 years ago) but was getting to the "in need of a refurb / refresh" and their rates got to be uncompetitive.

Other options:- Citrus Suites (pretty new) or Phachara Suites on Soi 6, both good and joiner friendly but maybe above your budget depending on travel dates.

SM Grande Residence on Soi 4 just down from the Soi 6 turning had ok serviced apartments, although slightly aging. Far better value than Omni Tower further down.

Ibis (between The Dawin and Omni Tower) rates seem to have dropped a little. I guess the newish Novotel and Ibis Styles (same group, Accor) may have cannibalized some of their trade. Plus point, it's an Ibis so you'll know exactly what to expect. Negative point, it's an Ibis!

Lohas Residence should be avoided. Used to be very good but has now become the "go to" for our Middle Eastern friends when they want to behave in a fashion which would not be tolerated around Sois 3 - 5. Management couldn't care less.

Talk me into enduring it for 2 nights or please suggest a similar place for $50-$70 for a Wednesday and Thursday night. Thanks in advance!

    Good Info. Want Complete Experience

You have option to go to a massage shop and do the girl in house. No hotel needed. E. g. Doki Doki.

Most gogo bars have nearby ST (short time) Hotels for 300 baht per hour. On a non busy night I get to go over time at Asoke Place.

Some ST Hotels near Nana have a pricing option for 90 minutes or 2 hours.

I don't quite understand the need for fancy accommodation if you won't stay there and have a hooker for a very limited time. If you want to party a bit, with more than two persons in a room, ST Hotels can accommodate you. The advantage is you just take a room when you need it.

The big advantage of ST Hotel is it is in easy walk distance from the bar. Girls know where they are. Soi 7/1 has a ST Hotel too. Sounds like your time available for mongering is short. BJ bars can be suited to guys wanting a very quick experience, with limited time available. I usually wanted to fuck the girl as well (onsite room).
Thanks good info. I don't know if I'm wealthy but I generally budget $2000-3000 a week when I do a girl binge and Thailand is super cost effective so I consider the room just a part of the budget. I really like the whole "take out" experience where you go back to the hotel and maybe even do some doggie at the window with a view. LOL. So I think I will do one of the Soi 11 hotels.

Thanks everyone for the advice! You guys are the best.

Thanks for this. I think tho since we are officially staying elsewhere and this is just my "girls hotel" I will try to keep it to under $100/ night.

Given that I won't be sleeping there so street noise etc doesn't matter I am leaning towards Soi 11 because so much going on but close to Nana and Thermae. Considering The Eleven, Mercure, Aloft. Anyone care to weigh in on Soi 11 options under $100? (But probably over $50. I want it to be nice) thanks.
Grand Swiss is convenient, right next to Nana BTS. I frequently stay at the Aloft and don't find the walk burdensome. I have walked to Soi 24 from there.

Aloft is a long walk. The tuk tuk they offer to guest is not that convenient because you have to wait. You can also check out Dynasty Grande. Thermae girl will work to the hotel. It is pretty clean and spacious.

Mercure is a great choice on Soi 11. Very modern, huge bathrooms with separate tubs and showers that easily fit 2 people. Girls love this place. Join the Accor frequent guest program. I sometimes get cheaper rates and usually get upgraded to even bigger rooms here. Several of us have made some detailed reports about this hotel in this thread. All the reviews here are positive.

You can get house keeping to change sheets when you want to and all the towels you need.
