Hi,

I plan to be in Curacao via cruise ship.

Going to be in port for about 8 hrs and have to be back on the ship by 5 pm.

I have a few questions:

Just hail a taxi and tell them Campo Alegre? How much is the cab ride?

I plan to be there around 11 am. Good time?

Still $6 entrance fee and $30 for a girl for 1/2 HR?

Is tipping customary? If so, what's the usual?

Any other advice?

Every taxi on the island knows where Campo is can't miss! Now $20-$25 suppose to be enough but I have heard stories so if they charge more try to negotiate something or find another one. Entrance fee is $6 and $30 for a 30 min session is suggested but if you want to pay something extra for her performance it's up to you they will surely appreciate it just show confidence when you are negotiating or they will try to overcharge you because they know you are a gringo! 11. Am is good why? Because you'll have chance to grab a drink or food and watch Campo afternoon traffic cause most of the girls wakes up around 12 P. M and 1 P. M for lunch. My best experiences was during daytime because they are not watching the clock and will be more relax which give you a better session. Also at this time most of the stunners that usually get taken at night will be free and roaming so you get a better view of the selection and they look sometimes better without all that make up they use at night.

Wow crazy to hear what happened. I'm going down for the second time in about a week and a half is campo still open and has it been affected by this incident? I went last year for the first time around the same time of year and had a blast. Enjoyed campo, met some Venezuelan chicks off tinder and at the mambo beach party I met one Venezuelan working girl too but there were plenty of hot blonde Dutch chicks. Is there anywhere else to get action on the island? What is a good spot in cubaweg to meet Venezuelan chicks and how does it work since I know they can't put it out in the open? Is there any street action? Also I was reading on the Curacao list about a strip club called Club Havana does it still exist is there any action there or any other stripe clubs on the island? Thanks I'm advance any help is much appreciated hope this incident hasn't affected the quality at campo just my luck a week before I'm planned to come down this happens smh.

Campo is still open and it's business as usual I have not seen many clientele lately but I'm pretty sure with the holidays coming and everybody gettin their bonus checks everything be normal its always like that. The one thing I can tell you is campo is full of girls!

The way you went is the best way to get any other action here which is hitting beaches and regular spots and discos were freelancers hang around. Emporio is a nice place to start if you want to scoop some freelancers but it is not point and click! You going to need to put in work as any regular spot. 27 bar on Tuesday nights is a gold mine if you like Dutch interns, and beaches as mambo, and Zanzibar as well.

There use to be a lot of strip clubs here including Havana but all been shutdown by Dutch authorities in cooperation with us official's because of human trafficking agreements between both countries. The Venezuelan bars plenty of them but I suggest you stay in the cubaweg neighborhood because most of them shacks are not so gringo friendly.

The Cuba weg scene consist of 3 main bars each has its own clientele which 2 of them (Venetia, and Rick melao) function as after hour party place with freelancers posting their when other places start closing. The the&the bar also known as trago bar is the only one of them 3 that has a s line up of chica that exclusively work for the bar. They mainly work for tragos (drinks fee) and can be had for take out if your price is right.

You been here before so I think you will do fine again no need to worry just come and have fun again as usual.

Girls in campo has a 3 month contract so with this said they suppose to stay the full term regardless holidays or not. However there is always a few that breach their contract if they struggle to meet ends and or don't make enough money, homesickness (mostly among newbies), and or just get deported. As usual during this period of time a lot of girls comes here to try there luck for some extra $$$ for their holidays spending and from my experience 40% doesn't stay till the end (Colombians most of the time are the ones that quit and fly back before new year) which leaves campo population at about 60% (mostly Dominicans) until the new batch comes in.

The conventional wisdom for Latin American mongering destinations seems to be that the lineup expands in the lead-up to Christmas because more girls want money for their Christmas spending, and that the lineup later shrinks after Christmas and into the New Year as the girls spend time with their families. I was wondering if this dynamic also holds true for the Colombian and Dominican girls at Campo Alegre, since they are away from home and given their immigration status and their relationship Campo. In other words, if I were to go the week before Christmas, would it be busier or about the same? If I were to go the week after Christmas, would it be slower or about the same?

Well, with under a week away from my first visit to Curacao. I'm reading some disturbing posts about what I thought was a "safe" compound to frolic in. And the post from Cursnoop, a respected senior contributor to this forum, kind of tempered my enthusiasm for my upcoming trip. We have a man on the ground in regular contributor Torso08. What's the latest for all to be aware of my friend? We had been chatting and you were advising of the dangers of the Venezuelan bars on Cubaweg and to stay within the safe haven of Campo, and then stuff like this happens? Tried googling for a news story but couldn't come up with much. Is this just an isolated incident. Maybe a lover's quarrel? Between my visit to San Nicolas in Aruba commencing Sunday, and then over to Curacao. Guess I'll have to bring my "A" game for alertness and vigilance. Thought I could kick back and unwind in Campo. But hearing it's gone downhill. I have no baseline to compare it to, so still looking forward to checking it out. Just don't want to get caught up in any drama involving any of the chicas.

Unfortunately there was an incident on the parking lot of campo which is outside the compound where a security guard was shot by a lady assasin. Word on the street is that she was send by somebody that had an incident days earlier in campo with one of the chicas and was beaten and throw out of the compound by campo security. So as retaliation they send an assassin as payback but she killed the wrong guy. We don't know yet if what is being said was the reason but unfortunately somebody died because of this. Police are still investigating and the suspects has not been caught yet. As for campo it still business as usual and still plenty of girls there as always everybody tastes in women vary but one thing is sure you'll always find one to your liking an get laid. The only downside right now is the bad publicity this whole incident has attracted to campo and thus less people going these days. Girls are struggling to meet ends therefore and are leaving before time breaking there contract earlier with campo. Campo itself has been always a pretty safe place and that one incident is not a reason to panic and cancel your visit. Even without campo curacao is a very interesting destination and you'll not regret your visit to the island. Me myself I don't have any share in campo I'm just a regular client and have seen up and downs in campo and won't get shook by one incident over a long period of time.

Which girl have you been talking to? I can tell you that Tuesday a girl came with a weapon and shot and killed a security guard. There are rumors that is a Venezuelan chica / sicaria. I haven't heard nothing about robbing girls in campo. All I know is the last time I was there it was not worth it campo is going downhill fast. There are a couple of nice looking ladies most of them are Dominicans this time. I count about 5 and about 4 Colombians. The others are not worth my time or money, but to each his own.

But I think most guys kind of agree with me, when any of those 9 girls are out most guys try to get them and some guys be talking them all night and you can clearly see the guys in campo just wandering around or sitting drinking a beer and saying no when the other girls ask them to join them in their room.

I can't open the picture but if its the girl I'm thinking then yeah I saw and talked to her last week.

Appreciate the confirmation. Actually been in touch with her and looking forward to reconnecting. Haven't seen her since last October when she was in Aruba. I'll be at Campo next Thursday night, the 14th. Going to try to hook up with Torso for a beer or two. Will be first visit. Have digested all that's been written on here and then some. May even wander over to Cubaweg some late afternoon or early evening for a change of pace. If anyone else will be on island starting next Thursday, PM me.
