These "other" Europeans are probably the usually overpaying, clueless NGO / UN / Corporate expats on 10 k plus USD. A month.

12 to 14 k ksh. Thats more than the monthly salary of a night watch man.

But you did good with the micro skirt girl. That's exactly what you do. You give taxi money. I love sexy chics too. But I pay only normal market rate and not the inflated UN / High roller expat rate.

You actually did very well with 1500 ksh.

And it was not free. You paid 1500 ksh. And of course in the morning the girl takes the matatu home for 100 bob. LOL.

With regards to "asking prices". Its commendable you traded them down to 6000. Which is still double the standard Nairobi Rate. LOL. You never negotiate. You tell them I pay 2000 for massage. Period. The basic mistake is to ask how much. Because then they know you're fresh meat. If they don't like what they hear. Move on. Another tip. The later the night like 2 am prices drop off a cliff as chic's heavily discount to avoid spending loads of money on transport. Look for simple dressed girls sipping on a cheap soft drinks. I usually negotiate 2000 and tell them if I am happy with the service you'll get a Tip on top in the morning. Like 500 to 1000..

Having said that, I thank you publicly for your interventions, you are my myth regarding Kenya.

A point in my favor that could please you is that I was probably the only European in Nairobi who negotiated the outrageous prices that were offered to you by girls.

In Westlands the most of WG try to ask for 150-200 dollars. Perhaps due to inexperience with this area I couldn't get under 6000 Ksh.

What do you think about the Kileleshwa area? I am planning to book an Airbnb in that area. The other option is "less then 1 km from Yaya centre". Both apartments look very nice, also have good reviews. I'm just wondering about the location as I have never been in Nairobi. Please help with advice and info.

I have said many times in this forum that Woodmere in Kilimani is hands down the best place to stay: Minutes from crazy CBD (what monger stays in CBD anymore, all the spots are gone and its too fucking noisy), quiet, greenery, small store on site to buy last minute bottle of wine, walking distance to YaYa, cheap, clean, and all the Ubers know the place! Reata near the NPC (Nairobi Pentecostal Church) is very nice too, and closer to CBD, but its about 107/ night last time I stayed there.

Yaya is close by for the shops, close enough to westlands for nightlife on weekend. Close enough to town as well. When I say close enough I mean 10 minutes out of the rush hours in the evening.

My idea is to meet the freelance girl and to spend the day / night together. Walk around, visit the interesting part of the town with her using her like a guide and company. In the night to go for a drink somewhere, explore the nightlife. And bang her in the meantime LOL. And change her after 1-2 days.

I get to Nairobi 3 or 4 times a year and it can be very hit or miss, I'm there in a few weeks time, hopefully I will get a hit.

Don't let a little smell stop you from meeting these lovely ladies. When you get into your uber at the airport you will detect the drivers smell. It varies from person to person. Thai girls have 3-4 showers a day. Kenya girls shower in the morning. I ask the Kenya girls to have a shower or bath inside my hotel room. They love a bath! I have had people with bad B. O. sit next to me on long flights so I use vicks vapo rub or Thai balm around my nose when travelling.

I met many girls on Tagged so I had contacts when I hit the ground. I stayed at the expensive but worth it Sankara hotel. At check in, I told the front desk that my friend would join me later as I had booked a double. She said my friend should show I. The. At the desk. She wanted $20 and I gave her $34. Next was a very tall, about 6 feet, Turkana student. I took her to the Kenya museum. Gave her lunch and cab fare for an afternoon delight. One other 22 year catfished me with her photo. She was much bigger in person but I enjoyed watching her bathe. She got my old mobile phone. I had no time but a Kenya / India 24 year old lady dropped by for drinks yesterday. She is coming by tonight after her work to teach me new tricks and then drive me to the airport. Its a dream place for our hobby but its not cheap. I do not mind being generous to kind attractive young ladies. I picked up one restaurant waitress and the rest through tagged. The waitress told me she made $250 a month. Be kind and soft spoken and you will get what we like.
