In Ethiopia getting in fights is really a big problem, even something as an unintended tap by your car gets people directly to jail, most of those claims are exaggerated as the victims will fall / scream the victimized. I have been a few times in Ethiopia and that country is best to avoid. Not only shit girls, but also shit food and dangerous pick pockets. Best option for beginners to try it is to fly Ethiopian to other country and book long connection. You you will get free transport, hotel plus 3 meals.

Ethiopian Air gives the hotel, meals, et. Al. Only for connections of 12 hours or longer. Look at their schedule and you quickly notice itineraries such as Luanda to Tana, for example where the connection time is 11 hours and 55 minutes. But if you 'get lucky' and catch a 20-some hour layover, this is worst option for a 'beginner': such a limited time window would only encourage taking short cuts which would to potential of risks. I've been only once to Ethiopia (Addis and Dire Dawa), but many times in the Bole Star Alliance Gold lounge for hours and hours where the improvement of food and machine has been notable.

I have very low vindictive tendencies, so I simply consider these attacks part of the issues you will face when you want to follow every woman you like regardless where she decides to go.

I was attacked at the same way that already happened to me in Tana (Mada).
