I hadn't been back to sebang since April 18 and everything I had heard from friends didn't sound good, but things to be both good and bad.

First on transport, the prohibition on banka boats direct from Batangas is a real pain in the ass. The additional trike, boat, or jeepney ride is just a pain, but it is what it is. Next on town, definitely more developed, with even a 7-11 open now. My go to corner market, Castillo, has renovated and expanded, and just in general seems a decent amount of building and renovation. This also means the new sewage treatment facility by the main dock which isn't running yet, but stinks quite a bit, I don't know how those places right by there are going to survive.

Onto what everyone wants, the bars. 1 new big one, Erotica, past coco lips right before the right hand turn towards big apple. I hadn't been back to sebang since April 18 and everything I had heard from friends didn't sound good, but things to be both good and bad.

First on transport, the prohibition on banka boats direct from Batangas is a real pain in the ass. The additional trike, boat, or jeepney ride is just a pain, but it is what it is. This schedule was a real help, and even though may not seem like much my return ride on a super fast craft was way better than the slowest fast craft over. https://www.pgyc.org/ferry-sched.php Also know that there are now 2 services running fast boat services with dual outboards. One of them was whole boat only at 8 k php for about 12 people, but the other would sell single seats if they had room and a boat going. Sure is pricer, but a closed in smooth 30 min ride would be a lot of us may pay for.

Next on town, definitely more developed, with even a 7-11 open now. My go to corner market, Castillo, has renovated and expanded, and just in general seems a decent amount of building and renovation. This also means the new sewage treatment facility by the main dock which isn't running yet, but stinks quite a bit, I don't know how those places right by there are going to survive.

Onto what everyone wants, the bars. 1 new big one, Erotica, past coco lips right before the right hand turn towards big apple. Bar is quite nice, multi-level and had by far the largest selection of girls nightly. They also have nightly bacla (ladyboy) show which is quite extravagant and entertaining. Now you don't want to see this more than once, but once was fun with a girl, buddies, and drinks. However all of this is driven by a changing demographic to sebang and the time of the western tourist is definitely on the way out. I would say Koreans are now 70% of the bar crowd if not more, and the increasing number of Korean eateries back this. Also it seems to be a far greater number of guys around that aren't diving at all and our just coming for the girls as the number out of boats was no where close to those hunting at night. Then add a very different approach to the whole seen where the guys are lined up in packs at 7 pm when the bars open jonsing for their hit of piney LBFM. This means either go at 7 or expect a much lower quantity and quality later. On a busy sat night by 9 pm most of the bars were near empty so this can really affect your options. Seriously though having had many Korean girlfriends I know the perils, but damn how bad is it that the guys are fleeing for pussy to the Philippines in these numbers? So this is the scene in sebang now for better or worse.

The bar fines are all at 4 k too now as well for all the bars where there were still some 3 k in 2018. Despite this however I still pulled all but 2 nights of my trip and was happy enough with the results, though only 1 was worth getting contact info and repeating with. I pulled 1 from quantum, 1 from erotica, and 2 from whatsup (now another name) the bar between erotica and coco lips. Of my 4 girls I think were actually baby free which was quite a surprise as well. One nice thing over the scene in Thailand now, is that since the girls are all just doing stints in sebang they are all young. Average age was 21 and while the girls are pros, there is still more innocence in them then the gogo girls of Bangkok. Prices in all the new bars for booze though is up and the ladydrinks are ridiculous at 350 php, so I would take your girl and hit the other bars, give the girl some tip to make up the difference she will walk away with more anyway.

The girls and bars all change to frequently for any recommendations to be useful, but if you are out I would start at erotica and pop your head in every bar to get a quick look and then head back to your best impression and have a drink and shop around. A lot of bars you won't need more than 15 secs to decide they aren't for you. The other best suggestion I have is that if you take a girl and it goes well even if you aren't one to repeat normally or even is the girl was only average it might be worth it to get her wechat, whatsapp, line, messenger, or whatever. Here is the reason. There may be nights you aren't ready or don't want to go early and you can just arrange outside the bar, some of the girls are happy to come by for a little afternoon delight if you are in the mood, and sometimes if you strike out on the night you might find your previous girl is available after already finishing her 334 or taking a night off. Lastly it can be good later post trip to get some pics as well for the memories, mine has sent me a few fun ones and a video!

Well you have read now some differing view on the flagging topic. You certainly can stop the car, wind down window and chat any cutie you see, no worries on that score. By all accounts Northern Samar and Eastern Samar got hit pretty hard from Typhoon Tisoy. Power has been off and on sporadically.

Treat them nice like you always do.

And ferries cancelled etc as some I know can't get to Cebu from Ormoc (Leyte) as ferry cancelled. Should be OK soon but is another thing to remember when the typhoon hits an area very badly.

My Northern Samar girl who was coming to meet me in Cebu next month has dropped off the radar for the past week. Today I chatted with another PL Northern Samar chick visiting fro makati there to help family hit by Typhoon and she told me the power has been out since storm and said my dear girl probably has dead battery in phone. I thought she might have been washed out to sea along with house. The ferry ride from Samar to Cebu is 8 hours so I was surprised when my chick said Okay no problem, I will come and thank you so so so much, how long do you want me to stay with you. Hmmm, to de determined. Just get one way ticket. I don't think the plane is much more money but I don't want the hassle to get to lapu X2 airport from Cebu City to pick her up. With terminal wait time plus flight and again terminal time and taxi time it would be all day trip anyway. By the way I have a date to meet the visitng chick chatted with today in makati in February if the stars alaign.

I have been told by travelers that you can be flagged down just driving down the road in the provinces and meet up with 1 or 2 girls that are happy to spend the day-and-night with you for just a nice dinner somewhere. I wonder where this has happened with you guys and if there are any specific provinces to check out directly question look I'm looking to drive to various areas in and around Cebu and Borocay and would like some input on this.
