Posts: 180It's both, street girls by the clock tower and club scene. I personally am not interested in Isis or Pley club and would rather party at La Dolce Vita or Space. If you're on airbnb just message your host and if you're doing a hotel, just book for 2 people.

Hello all,
Contemplating making my first trip to Cartagena in March.
My mongering experience so far has been a handful of Sosua trips and one to Costa Rica. I'm a decent looking early 40's white American with minimal Spanish speaking skills, but I had a great time in both DR and CR and didn't have any issues.
From what I've gathered reading through the first couple pages here, March seems like a good time to go, and the average is 150-200 k COP / HR which seems comparable to DR so that's cool.
Is the vibe more street girls or club / bar or both? I'm good with either.
Any recommendations on chica friendly hotels or rentals and just general intel would be appreciated.

Posts: 7With Colombian burner phone you get a new Colombian number

Again, the expression recharging has nothing to do with electricity, but rather sells you minutes of connect time, data, etc. It is very cheap compared to the US. It is also performed for you at the cash registers of most small grocery stores, gas stations, etc. You simply ask the cashier for "recharga", they tap a few keys, ask for your phone number, give them only a small amount of money, and you are good to go for a couple of weeks or more. It takes maybe two minutes. Your chica will send you pics, you can take pics of her, contact a bunch of other girls, etc. When your trip is over, throw the burner into the trash. Best of luck.

I recall a few years back I was ready to pull the trigger on a mid sized boat for $1,700. And searched in vain to find 2 others who would partner with me (IE $600. Each x 3) but no takers.
It would be a lot of fun!

Perhaps I'm overthinking it and Brazil may not be any more shady than Colombia.

Sao Paulo is on my list of places to go next year however none of my wingmen will join me due to it being Brazil. And having never stepped foot in Brazil before, you can understand my hesitations about going alone. Something like a mansion type environment would be good for me to get my feet wet there.

How much does it cost to rent a boat for the day? Or a yacht.

Also, that Sao Paolo lounge you mentioned looks promising.
