Stayed 5 days at arusha close to city center. My mongering was weak here have just 2 diffrent girls selection was not so good. You offer your own price for trip for driver on app its cheap and working great for longer distance like 4-5 kilomitre ride cost just 4-5 k. Plenty of drivers around and waiting time no more when few minutes.Its popular app around the world also it has at nairobi and kampala.

Food: plenty good places to eat around but I can reccomend wasington bar its very close to dar express bus terminal. Its cheap local places with many tables outside to sit and loud music on evenings its packed with locals. Cheap cold beer for 1. 5 k - 2 k for bottle or 700 shilings for soda and you can have many diffrent tasty food like chicken, beef, sausages or many others which they fry for you on fire for small prices between 2-5 k shillings with big portions. Also have many young waitress who flirt with you but they are just so so looking. Ask the prices always before you buy because when they see mzungus they try increase it.

ATM: found 2 banks which accept mastercard without charges its eco bank and diamond trust bank.

Other things: weather is great at arusha daytime you can walk hours and not sweat. Nigttime is falling down a lot and becomes cold like at nairobi. Arusha has some modern malls shopping malls also cinemas. People are friendly around and many is speak some english. I like arusha its a great city with many cheap food options, many clubs, bars, malls but for mongering its a weak place if you are little bit picky on girls and don't want pay tourist prices.also now is low season maybe on high season you can get diffrent expierence.

When travelling with all your belongings, it is better to have the hotel organise the pick up for you.

Might be a little bit more expensive, but worth the money.

It used to be quite common in Dar that people going to the airport got fleeced by the cabbies.

They know you leave, they know you got all the stuff with you. So quite often all of a sudden a second guy gets in, threatens you and they will (if you are lucky) drop you off in a dark alley and speed off with all your stuff.

Even with Uber I would be cautious when having all my stuff with me. Your stuff (cam, laptop, phone, clothes etc.) might be worth more than a cab driver makes a year.

Comeback tanzania after 3. 5 years. First stop was tanga stayed nyinda respective hotel for 50 k per night its in a middle between of all clubs.
