Hi everyone,

An old-time veteran back in Rio for a few weeks who are trying to use PhotoAcompanhantes (which I'm assuming is the best source for independents) / WhatsApp for the first time, with extremely limited success so far.

When pressing the WhatsApp button on PhotoAcompanhantes about 1/4 the listings go through, the other 3/4 return a message "Phone number shared via URL is invalid. " I don't know why this is (does anyone? And would like advice as to what that means I should do next. Send a plain text to the phone number using my regular texting app, for example? Or is that risky in some way?

Of the few that have gone through so far, three unread, three read, one one of which replied to. I was wondering if anyone might know why that might be, and if there some protocols in messaging that I need to follow that would increase my success. Good looking late middle-aged guy with a profile photo, sending the stock opening message that PhotoAcompanhantes fills in, can't figure out why they would ignore messages.

The final question would be, about what percentage of the photos in the ads are real vs. Fake?

Heading out to Rio in few weeks and wanted to have some feedback / advise on the items below.

If you have any recommendation on any other mongering places, please feel free to share.

1. Transportation: Will use Uber and metro.

2. Bank ATM: Bradesco has no bank fees.

3. Massage: Prive euro barra, copa 583, eden spa. Bel prazer.

4. Termas: monte Carlo. Termas 502, solarium, cancun, centaurus.

Lastly, anyone has update on re-opening of 4 x4 by any chance??

If you're into bar girls then Rio is not the place mabs bar is the only place and quality varies but there are normally a few decent girls. Unfortunately the better ones have golden pussies and want 100 USD short time. I've picked up a few at 50 USD. These girls are happier to go home with zero than lower their price.

Easier to ask forgiveness than to get permission. Rent a penthouse and don't mention the party. We used to do it all the time before airbnb and all these rules got put in place.

That's an ignorant statement to make. I've been to Brazil plenty of times. Brazilian women like men that they are attracted to and color is not the main reason. For a few it might be and I am talking from experience.

Yeh thanks I have told then to brush up on their Portuguese if they want to pull non P4P. I will LMAO if a number of them end up with a dry dick of a trip and I am taking back hot GDPs every night. Nothing like rubbing people's faces in it.

Definitely not spam, trust me. My memory is just a little Hazy because it's been nearly 13 years and it was a heavy trip in terms of drinking (I my defense was only 19 at the time) but every hot girl I ran into in Copa bars clubs the beach etc (well apart from 1 girl) was clearly working. Since then I always just associated Copa as a place like Pattaya where all the girls there are working.
