Thanks for all the people posting, it's definitely helped prep for the trip.

I don't know how many times I tell my self I'm done with early morning flights and next you know, my cheap ass can't get over the rates and I booked the worst flight. I'm up at 4:30 am to head to the airport, arrive without any issues around noon. I'm beyond tired but hungry so I go for a little walk and stop and get some food. I thought about hitting the day casas but I needed a nap and a shower so I went back to my apartment and passed out. What was supposed to be an hour power nap turned into 3 hours LOL. I take my shower and head out, I'm making my walk to check out day cases and I stop for some food and realize their all closed. I got a text from Tantra but they closed in like 30 minutes and I didn't want to be rushed. So after eating I just continued walking, I was waiting to hear back from another member and decided I could spend my time waiting in Pussy House.

That was a great decision. I know there is much better value and that's the reason to come to Bogota but I had this girl with me from 9:30-1:30 chilling with me without any issues, she was 22, no kids, perfect smile, fat ass paisa. I think guys piss every half meter on every wall down the street. You can see the stains. The sidewalks are pretty tore up. If you wheeled your suitcase down the street I think you would lose a wheel after the 5th block.

The food thus far is really bad and I have low expectations. I found 5 Chinese places and the 2 I tried were just OK. I was excited to find 5 Mexican places to eat in the University area at the base of Monserrate (church on the hill). 4 were closed closed. The only one still in business only had 3 items on menu. I ate the burrito there twice now. Anyone know where to get Mexican tacos, burritos, etc within walking distance (I can walk far)? PM me. Much appreciated. Pretty good shawarma place just open 2 days ago on Carrera 16 next to Paisa Club (less than 2 blocks away from me).

The nearest Exito, Ara, and Justo Bueno to Santa Fe have less stuff than the stores I saw in Cucuta.

Some guy noticed me asking with my phone translator about the hotel he was staying at. Says he worked in New York for a few years. Don't know don't care. So since he supposedly visited the USA And speaks English we are friends now. He yells out "Hey Friend" when I pass by. First day he asks me about doing drugs and drinking with him. I told him I do not do drugs, drink very little because I find trouble very easily without those things, and I did not come to Santa Fe to drink with guys on the street on a Friday night. Hate the guy 3 days later when he pulled that Super Dick move of calling a girl passing by but not to talk to him but for me. She was embarrassed and I was beyond pissed off. I told him he was an idiot and walked away.

Staying at Sante Fe Suites (corner Calle 22 A and Carrera 16). Run down but wanted to be in the middle of it all. Rooms are cold because no heat in all the hotels in the immediate area as far as I can tell. The building in like a donut where the center is same temperature as outside. 30,000 room 15,000 chicka fee. I paid 50,000 the first 2 nights because Agoda's price was higher. Many times the online price was cheaper in other places I have been.

Hotel Nuevo Sante Fe (Calle 22) run down. Run by guys versus the one I am at is run by females with a mother daughter duo so feel safer there. Also this is the place that the loser guy I mentioned stays at. 35,000. Chicka fee unknown.

Troya Hotel (Carrera 16) nearly across the street. Little better with stove top and refrigerator. 50,000 but a hefty 40,000 chica fee.

Residencias Villa Real (Calle 23) appears to be the most popular ST hotel. Small not sure any place to even put my suitcase down. 30,000 and 20,000 chicka fee.

Further up Carrera 16 is Hospedaje Encanto's on the left near the end of the street. Very quiet. They have a sauna for 4000. Rooms were ok. Went to check in but could not until 6 pm. I was like WTF? Finally explained to me they rent in 12 hour increments. 25,000 for 12 hours No chickas allowed.

Right next door is Costa Dorado. Pretty nice and I believe very quiet. 70,000 No chicas allowed.

Hotel Normandia (Carrera 15 near Santa Fe Suites but 1 street over). Room is OK. 30,000 No chicas allowed. Update! Saw street girls outside Normandia and they allow chicas. Wonder why the person said no days ago when I asked.

Other side of Avenida Caracas. This area has more restaurants, nicer hotels, and more shopping but seems like it would be more dangerous at night than the Street Girl Scene that I am at because so many empty buildings.

Europa. Just OK. Not worth the location and not compared to Oceania a block away. 70,000 and 25,000 chica fee.

Oceania rooms looked great online. Entrance / foyer area much nicer than Europa for near the same price. 76,000. 57,000 chica fee.

I got really high today for free at Monserrate (church on the hill). It is walking distance away. I took the free hike (1. 5 hours) at 8:00 am Wednesday. Many sites said to be careful of thieves on the trail but there were police in 6 different spots along the trail and someone was always within sight and many people listening to their phones. Google Maps had a "Street View" and actually had someone walk up the trail with one of their cameras. I bet they have a map on how to get to my GF's pussy and how long it takes to get there! Scary shit what they have mapped out. Then think about what your government has!

Once down my face looked red and weathered and I was outside a restaurant reading their menu. The waitress came out an spoke to another guy reading the menu. Se looked me up and down like I was a homeless person. So funny.

The Ara store in the University's Student Center had a 700 ML irish cream whiskey 14% alcohol for 28,000 ($10) and it is good! Brand: Broadway.

My main * complaint is it is sooo cold. There are only 5 hours of 60-65 degree weather. It makes me not want to venture out. Nights are mid 40's. I am used to shorts and sandals. So strange that I have seen more guys wearing shorts in this cold ass place in 2 days than I did in Cucuta in 2 months and it is 80-90 degrees there. If it was raining I would have left already because then it would be nail biting cold. Oops. It has warmed up the last few days a bit. Today being the hottest when I took the small hike up the mountain. My face looks like a damn lobster! I had shorts and 3 shirts. Tried going slow to not sweat. Hike took me 1. 5 hours but easily done in 1 hour if I had taken off 2 of the 3 shirts. Some rocks are slippery on the way down. If it had rained I would have taken the funicular or cable car down as to not bust my ass on the way down. I love fucking with people so at the top I approached 3 different people with my phone translator, "I think I am lost. Where is the Mall?" The last person pointed down at the city and we were next to the church and the trail so I started walking down. The lady must of thought I was stupid.

I am not easily impressed, shocked, etc. But these women baring so much skin at these temperatures is utterly amazing! Some of their attire is simply wonderful because it is barely there. I saw 5 girls the first night that I would be happy to sleep with. I think any guy who can't find someone to their liking is blind and rather stupid really. It takes me 3 days to get into the groove of things but this place will take me a bit longer.

Cucuta was so hot that laundromats were very few because people did not need them. I see one about every 2 blocks in the Street Girl area of Sante Fe. I am staying 27 days and I can only turn my underwear inside out and spray with perfume so many times before I have to break down and wash them. I am doing my part to save the environment. Last time I came to Bogota I took a trip up to Chapinero and was disappointed in what I saw. This time I gave it another try. I started off at El Padrino, and went north up to Calle 86 a. Lalo's appears to be closed. Anyways, the gist of these clubs appear to be that you get to sit down and talk with the girls, since they're supposed to be more educated. But for someone who doesn't speak Spanish, I'm not really sure if there's any real appeal. OK so they're in a safer area than SF, but the girls weren't that much better than the ones you'd find in SF, which confirmed what I saw last time. On the other hand, they're charging 3 x-4 x the price.

In Medellin there's Fase Dos, which is a higher end strip club. I thought at least one of the clubs in Chapinero was going to be like this, but I didn't find one. The ones I poked my head in were just full of girls lounging around, not doing anything. So given that I can't do anything but a Google Translate conversation with the girls, and that I'm comfortable with SF, these clubs seem to offer little value to someone who's in a similar situation as me.

I totally agree compared to Santa Fe the other areas are either overpriced or bad quality.

I was pointing out the ridiculousness of having to use a phone AND a credit card just to pay for a simple ride. The more a person uses technology as a crutch, the more common sense they lose. Keep it straightforward. I don't even bring a phone when I travel. I like to explore on my own, and talk to the locals for info, rather than following a digital map and looking things up. It's amazing how you can build a street network that way. I've done it in many countries. But, I suppose that's the difference between a traveler and a tourist.
