I am using starling bank mastercard. They give both euro and pounds account on one card. For 1 pound I am getting now 4801 ariary like revolut gives just 4735. So as I said I am getting better rate and without any charges. Miracle card is Charles Schwab bank with visa which giving perfect rate and also reinbruse all atm fees if you get any but this card is for americans. Read about starling bank card check mastercard exchange rates and you will see i am right. This is a proof for you what the rate was pound to ariary on january 10 and what i get this date from atm at tamatave. As i said i get perfect rates.

And the Master Card exchange rate is as bad as the regular Visa Credit Card rate. Only Revolut gives you the middle rate. Right now for the ariary 3991.04 ar to the Euro. So which Miracle master card charges nothing and gives the middle rate. Tell us. N26? The problem I have with master card..It is not working on half of the ATMs. Visa is.

I use mastercard at 8 diffrent african countries and never have a problems to find cash machines without charges and it always work for me. I have revolut visa also just in case when travel and few other extra cards but I don't use it. Revolut its allowed just 200 pounds free withdrawal per month after it charges 2 percent extra so if I want take 2000 dollars per month with revolut it will cost me 36 dollars more instead my mastercard which don't charge anything. And revolut giving slightly worst exchange rate than mastercard. So why I should loose every month about 60-70 dollars or even more using revolut instead my mastercard which giving better exchange rate and charge nothing. So why people should listen and loose more money every month?

Quiet. Yes no tourist season due to the rainy / cyclone season. But Tamatave is no Sextourist / Lemurlover destination. So local girls are there of course. What surprises me that there is not a lot of rain. Pokeris seems to be lucky. But weather changes. So climate charts are not as reliable. Uganda Kenya lots of torrential rains where it supposedly is dry season now. Also almost no cyclones up to now. Very unusual.

I have found some information in this topic a bit later after this post in page 2 XX, so it was a 2009 law after a french reportage speaking about Nosy Be and at least 12 Frenchs were sent to jail, but it seems that after the president was kicked out a few months later, the law was not followed anymore or maybe abolished, thanks for the reply.

Well sir like I said, that is what took place. I withdrew 200 k from Visa no problem, however using MasterCard I could not withdraw 200 k. These are both Debit cards with large balances. My MasterCard debit had no record of any attempts to withdraw from an ATM. I'm just reporting my experience. No worries.

I have found some information in this topic a bit later after this post in page 2 XX, so it was a 2009 law after a french reportage speaking about Nosy Be and at least 12 Frenchs were sent to jail, but it seems that after the president was kicked out a few months later, the law was not followed anymore or maybe abolished, thanks for the reply.

I also found an old article online, unfortunately not in English, that discusses that law. 10 years old. I didn't find anything comparable that is two or five years old. On other boards that is also discussed in that way and the result was that that law does not exist anymore. But no guarantee. If have been there, never heard something like this at Madagascar from locals, expats, hotel owners or anybody else.

I am considering coming to visit Madagascar this year; I plan to visit but also to meet some nice girls but I have read on some website that there is a law against meeting locals, I don't remember the consequence but it was enough for me to think that it's maybe not a good idea, and I have also read that the hotels could be fined if they welcome locals + foreigners, so that a lot of them won't accept guest, so I'd like to know if those laws are applied or not before deciding to come here or not. From what I have read on this topic I supposed that they are not enforced but I prefer to check, thanks a lot!

Hi, I know only two hotels at Nosy Be that doesn't allow local guests and maybe there are or more on this island. Anywhere else never heard anything like this.

Still enough girls same as any time of the year where they can disapear? Weather is good was raining just 1 time strong at night in 12 days. On weekdays clubs it his and miss somedays I can't find anything I like or even collect any number, most busiest days is Thursday, Friday and Saturday. If you come here just for girls from clubs, la terasse maybe its aint best selection probably after 1 or 2 weeks you will fuck all of them you like, nosy be is better choise for it but if you mix clubs girls, facebook girls, normal girls who walk on street you can have good selection. Yes I will go nosy be just not sure when yet maybe next week or maybe end of February.
