Ahnvee was not as dead as Monday. Talked to one of my contacts about all night. She quoted my $120 dollars. That was the first time someone quoted me dollars and not pesos. I said no. Tell me in pesos. I only have pesos. Wink wink. Well she said 5,000 pesos. She was having a slow night. I actually wanted someone new and chose her friend for short time. Her friend asked how much I wanted to pay. I said 2,000. She quoted 3 k. I said 2 k. She said 2,500. I think if I had bargained harder I could have had her for the 2 k but was lazy and just said OK at 2,500. That was suppose to be for 2 hours. Well, my experience so far with girls from Ahnvee is short time is short time. No matter 1 hour or 2 hours. She said she was 21 with no kids. But a common mistake for newbies is they are told that all women in Sosua are basically hookers. They arrive with that attitude. Not so, day to day workers have different lifestyles.

I've see too many newbies come into my local bars and treat the servers as if that is the case. When they get rejected, they believe that it's personal, and if they have had enough alcohol, get angry and abusive.

Truth is, out of 4 servers, one is probably the main squeeze of the owner, one may have steady local BF (who may suddenly show up from nowhere, if the language gets out of line, LOL), but that still leaves another 1 or 2, who if approached with a little respect and courtesy could end up being your trip to paradise.

The trick is to be smart, and eye up the situation, and don't believe everything you hear!

Eerie coincidence that things got exponentially worse when Bourbon Street / Ahnvee came to the strip, starting with the Rumba situation. Business seems to always get funneled to these folks. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, just saying.

Some of the local chicas just won't go to the Ahmvee pro meat market, just for appearances sake. For them it has a bad rep, and they are all marked immediately as hookers. Might as well pin a menu on them and give them a ticket machine, LOL. The pros obviously love it and they make a good living. The place is always full enough.

But for the semi and occasional chica, it takes away some of their game, the allure of a GF fantasy, for a night, a weekend or even a week. Just like in the old days.

They are hanging out with their GFs, at home, in the smaller bars, and picking a some of their business from regulars and their smartphone contact lists. These are the ones some visitors prefer.
