It showed:
81% develop mild symptoms
14% develop severe symptoms
5% become critically ill
Less than 0.5% of patients aged under 50 have died, according to the Chinese Centres of Disease Control.
However, that figure spikes rapidly to:
1.3% in their 50s
3.6% in their 60s
8% in their 70s
15% over 80
The death rate for people with no other health problems is 0.9%.
However, this rises to:
6% in people with high blood pressure
6% in people with long-term lung problems such as those caused by a lifetime of smoking
7% in people with diabetes
11% in people with cardiovascular disease
There is a confirmed case of a 20-year old girl from Wuhan who never had symptoms. She never even had a fever. She only got tested after five of her family members fell ill with coronavirus. The 33 year old German businessman in Bavaria felt better after three days and went back to work. That's how two of his colleagues got infected.

What are the odds of getting a GFE at any of the FKK or other clubs in Germany?
Are there any of them that take steps to promote GFE for their customers?
What is the cheapest place to live in Germany near a good FKK club.
Searching for greener pastures.

I'd play tag team if I had caught it. Too bad I don't have any plans on going to northern Italy (nor Asia for that matter). We'll all get it within a few years anyway, so better just get it over with. I'm more worried about the vaccines that eventually will come, with their side effects.

Posts: 7963. 4 is the quotient of registered infected vs actually died. It is a highly biased number. We should realize that most people that are infected likely never registered, since most have only light symptoms. Reason I, why this number would be massively lower.
Also 80 plus people present the majority who die. So again the quotient for. Say 60 or less. Drops below 2 percent.
Further of the 60 and younger people who die, most have COPD, asthma, diabetes --so if you don't have any of the preconditions, the actual death rate could be as low as 0. 1% or so.
All just guesses -- but just saying the 3. 4 is a very high overgeneralization.
So it is not that bad. But it is still very bad: Indeed it has the making of becoming one of largest global catastrophes this planet has witnessed since WWII. It is a very major serious event. Interesting to see how this is all down-played in the media.
We are not yet in the 2004 tsunami range - "just 3000" folks dead so far. But when will it stop. ?

Posts: 796Yes, I read about it too. But I doubt one should take this preventively. I guess once you show symptoms and being tested it is not too late?

Apparently chloroquine might be the cure.
Healthy people and children shouldn't worry too much.

Quarantine may not be the answer for much longer as incidents are popping up across Europe. It was known that it could only be a short term solution that gave the experts time to analyse the virus and time is running out. I don't know how much longer that this can be effective.
And apologies to Gino as I did not know how very deadly this disease is compared to the flu, I kept on saying that 650,000 people die from the flu each year but did not know that that 650,000 is about 10 - 20 people deaths out of 100,000 infections - 0.1% - 0.2% but the known percentage of coronavirus deaths is at 3. 4%. So if the same number of people who get infected by the flu could get infected by covid19 then the death rate would be massive.

Not sure if banning Italians would actually work at this point. I do hope to be wrong, but this virus could already have crossed the Alps.

Likely massive coronavirus. Spreading in Heinsberg / near GT / Bruggen.
Update: this Heinsberg Corona-case guy was apparently a mass-spreader- and now there are 5 corona-cases just in NRW. According to a recent FAZ article. Heinsberg is just 10 km from Bruggen.
This is quickly getting into italian proportions: https://www.faz.net/aktuell/gesellsc...-16652280.html.

Posts: 796100% this is affecting business. NRW in Germany has its first coronavirus case in Heinsberg. The male, 47 y old, is in deep shit. A country-wide scare is immanent.
Now -- there are 3 logics to work on:
A) get an infection quickly. As long as still some good beds in the ICUs (intensive care units) are available. Then visit FKK massively now. Grin. Take your odds.. and hopefully you are "immunizised" - and ok to go more to FKK..
B) or wait a bit. Until treatment folks have more experience. You can still visit FKK - -good luck with that gamble.
C) or hide. Maybe until may and hope this will behave like the flue which is typically gone by May.
