Enjoy, I did many 6 month stints in Kenya in days gone by. Great when we have the winter in UK and I was strolling along Mombasa beaches and getting a massage during the day in the sun. Then on night the hardest part was choosing which one to bang on the long lists you can easily build up.

Do you suggest Mombasa as a good starting point for a first timer to East Africa?

I'll have at least 3 months, and my plan is to visit Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania. But don't know in what order. The East African Visa allows for travel between Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda, so I'd like to visit those as a block. And then tackle TZ on its own.

I appreciate any suggestions.

I have no idea if this is a reasonable question, although I suspect it is not: Is there a reputable tailor in Nairobi where one might have a decent suit made at a reasonable cost, as I have found in Asia?

I have never noticed this but in Kenya anything is possible. If it is then they must not be very good at it as if you ever see an African in a suit it never fits properly.

I plan to spend about 3 months in East Africa--Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania are on my list. I won't arrive until later this summer, so in the meantime I've paid for an upgraded membership on AfroIntroductions. Keeps me distracted from the gray walls of the corporate plantation until I finally depart for Africa.

I caught something in Nairobi that pretty much ruined the last four days of my trip. I'm susceptible to bronchitis with colds, so pretty sure it was not corona. Head and chest congestion. Still have slight cough. I'm now in Angeles master plumbing tight Filipina tunnels.

Only if entering from a Yellow fever country.

Ok, so Nairobi is different from Entebbe. At Entebbe they insisted on it although I made it clear I'd had visas for Uganda before (proof of yellow fever vaccine was part of the visa requirements). What they were after of course was baksheesh. There used to be a time when the yellow fever vaccine was not known to be for life and expired vaccinations would also be an excuse to extort money.

Avoiding Thailand now is not justified. Thailand is now on its way to become one of the countries with the least number of people infected.

Kenya pharmacies sell DHEA, Melatonin and all kinds of supplements without prescriptions. I would therefore not be surprised if TRT products were also readily available.

This is the second part of my Nairobi report from a few weeks back. Been back home a couple weeks and it seems my brain has been rewired, haha, as all the "big" asses here look smaller now. LOL. Already yearning to go back and will do before Summer.

Day Six.

Hanging out in places like Java Coffee, Yaya centre and Junction Mall. So far this week, two or three waitresses and shop girls super friendly, seem interested, but just I'm holding out for a big booty. - Trip was 2000 USD all included. If you divide by my six sessions that is 300 USD per girl. But, it's cool, where else can you get that thickness? And don't forget the GFE.

- I lost three days of action because 1) bad organization on my part 2) I'm fussy and it had to be premier league booty or else nothing. 3) One girl no-showed and I went to bed early.
