After a non-successful Soi 23 MP walk-by, decided to head to Sukura for a wash, salting, and tug to get the bad taste out of my mouth. Now, at Sakura, there is no live line-up. There is a small booklet with pictures of the staff; those available will be pointed out to you.

Walk in, sit down, they bring a small, cold bottle of water, a cold, wet towel, a menu, and the server booklet. My poor recollation of the past 2 weeks, visit each week, there seems to be 2 menus. A laminated card and a book. I might be mistaken, but I remember the book having a lower price than the laminated card, 1280 and 1380 respectively, for a wash, salting, and heat towels. The laminated card is the older menu, with salt tapping listed. The book, maybe newer, maybe for non-Falang customers, does not mention salt tapping. Again, my memory might be failing more than usual.

Pick a girl; depending on time / customers, pickings might be slim to none. First time I was there, only 1 girl available. This time, 4. None lept out, so I picked Sushi, as who doesn't like Sushi? Sushi, limited English, but enough to explain (only) 2 options: HJ, 500; or HJ + B2 B with touching allowed, 1000. What can I say, I'm a pushover, so opted for the higher class. Given Soi 31 is just across from Soi 22 (love the BKK numbering), but it IS across Sukhumvit, but at least there's a crosswalk. Timing correctly, you can make it across, no doubt SOME drivers thinking it might be less trouble to yield than splat a Falang.

Into the shop around 15:30. When asked, "No, I don't have a booking. " Told to sit and wait a minute; as others have mentioned, curtain closed, some rustling behind, curtain opens, and 10-12 girls walk out. One nice thing about Doki-Doki: they use names when introducing the girls rather than numbers. Most were smiling. I had immediately recognized Happy, but no Wawa to be seen. On my last trip to Bangkok I visited this little shop on 26/1. Walked through the area with the MP's a few times but found a girl at this place that looked interesting.

I was told to come in to choose the girls and I saw another girl that sparked my interest. I had some difficulties in choosing but in the end I opted for the one that had caught my eye from outside. Doki doki has been a hit and miss for me. Some girls are great and some just not my type. After kiss left, I rarely go there now. But went there recently to give it a try.

Anyone know a good Korean salt bath place in Bangkok.

I used to enjoy the Chit Lom Akana Korean style salt bath. For last six or seven years I have been trying to find a similar place but I have not found one yet. Last December I went to Su Esthetic hoping I'll get a similar experience but it was not any where close. Don't know about salt baths, but Sakara has offered salt tapping for decades. First went there when it was in Washington square; long since moved to Sukhumvit soi 55, Thong Lo, on soi 55, near soi 6. BTS Thong Lo, past Tops Market, before Foodland, look for sign over the sidewalk, perpendicular to the sidewalk.

Much nicer rooms in the current location. Each room has 2 sections. A wet section for the washing, tapping, and a dry for the massage. Went there last week and it seems their printed menu has changed. It no longer, that I could see, lists "salt tapping". I know last year, it specifically listed that as an option. Had a discussion with the manager, me pointing to the "Salt Tapping" lettering on the front door. She was saying "yes, have, have", even if not listed on menu.

At 14:00, only 1 girl available. Paid a bit less than 1300 for 90 minutes. Up to the room, strip, get on wet table. First soap scrub, then rinse. Then girl poured salt on me.
