Why Thermae when there are plenty of other options?

It is easy to pass through on the way to and from Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza, drinks are normal price not beer bar or go-go bar price, at least 75% of the girls are delighted to be approached and taken for ST by any man of any age and ethnicity (more than 75% now) and at a cost generally 500 baht to 1,500 baht less than taking a girl from a typical beer bar or go-go bar. Often less rough edged girls at that.

Thermae has a lot going for it on all those counts, especially if you are the kind of punter pleased to get standard, basic fare of "lick around the edges, if that, slip on a condom and proceed."

Getting an above average girl there who is new to you and willng to agree upfront to BBFS+CIP for the going rate of, say, 2,000 baht - 2,500 baht is the only real challenge 99% of the punters of the world might face there, as it is throughout Thailand imo.
