How long do you think this current situation in Dubai is likely last? My understanding is that bars and discos are closed, along with the travel restrictions, visas banned etc. The other day I told my regular Uzbek WG in Dubai that I think it could be a minimum 3 months to 6 months maximum before the situation becomes like it was before this crisis and she got really pissed at me, saying I'm crazy etc. So my question is, given that UAE has a fairly small number of COVID 19 cases right now (less than 150), what is your prediction on when it should go back to business as usual? I think even if my 3 months minimum was a bit excessive, it does look unlikely that things would go back to normal until after Ramadan is over. I was planning on coming to Dubai this Easter break for 10 days but that does not look like it's going to happen.

Yes bars etc are closed. No new visitor visas are being issued. Most hotels are partially shut down. (on the plus side, those that are open are dirt cheap!

There seems to be some 'head in the sand' stuff going on with WG's about it. Given what's going on elsewhere in the world, it seems unlikely this will be over in next month or so.

The only thing that makes UAE different is the number of expats and fifo's that keep the place running, and that Expo 2020 is coming up (which will no doubt be behind schedule now). That may put pressure on loosening the visa situation if they're still going ahead with the planned start date.

There are rumours that some well known hotel chains are asking the govt to permit them to rent out rooms on an hourly basis. Lets hope it materialises soon.

I am more of an AMP guy as I cannot accommodate, given the current situation I am considering renting for a month or two a studio and have my regulars visit me or even hunt for new talent. I know that a few fellows do rent a pad for their mongering activities. Anyone can share a few pointers on maybe hotel apartments that are visitor friendly? What are the typical going rates for a month? Which areas are good in terms of convenience and price. I am thinking of Barsha and maybe marina. Any tips on these areas? For several years now I've started taking girls to clubs and restaurants before the hotel. QE2 is great with many bars and several restaurants, I love the culture of the place being on a floating ship from the 60's. Sometimes we'll go Cavalli or Muskovites. Thursday. Cin Cin bar at the Farmont hotel. Arrived about 10:30 PM and only half the bar was operating. Only the main bar and one side were operating while the lights were turned off on the other side. There were only eight girls walking around. Had one beer and left around 11:30 and went to Cavalli club around back. Only 20 or 30 people in the whole club. I only noticed 3 or 4 possible girls working so I decided to leave around 12:30. I did notice a few more people were coming when I was going out.

Friday. Moscow Hotel. Arrived around 11:30 and the number of women in the club was a little less than usual. I did notice that the quality was down in my opinion but to each his own. Decided to leave after a few drinks and head over to Juuls bar. Arrived around 1200 AM and the place was pretty much empty with only 10 to 15 women in the bar. I noticed the quality was not the usual. Stayed until 2:00 AM with no change in the scenery.

All the major hotels are below 20% occupancy, so as the clientele is down, the girls are moving on. But I'm finding the quality is still out there to be had.

Decided to mix it up and stay at the Dusit in downtown. Couple of in house bars, and although the quantity and choice wasnt there, I did find one that suited my taste.

What was the golden triangle again? Was it the walk around Paranormal, York and Regal? I always enjoyed that walk. You could even do it in summer. Some use to add Mariners at the end of Al Rolla to that walk. You can even pop in or hang around Imperial half way up Al Rolla.

I decided to have a night off and just do that walk the other night. (Sometimes I throw in the odd night off just to recharge the batteries). Its not a long walk at all in a Dubai winter. Al Rolla's night live is quite vibrant and alive nowadays. Just don't slip on all those cards)) I saw who it is, its a young Bangladishi boy on a bicycle. He just rides along the pavement and drops the cards. A few people called out but he just keeps on pedalling. . Its not a good look picking up the cards but there you go, I'm not always good looking hehe. Its odd some of the cards now have actual maps of where the parlours are. Some of them are actually fully fledged parlours on Al Rolla or just at the end of the street on Al Mina. One of the cards had a Russian Parlour advertised to.

When I got to the end of Al Rolla I decided I'd carry on and have a look at Czars at Capitol Hotel. Just a 10 minute walk along Al Mina. Its changed. A lot more girls. I went to Premier the other night for 2 hours and Czars was much better quality. Theres a sports bar just to the right after entry to Capitol hotel. Had a beer in there. There were several girls in there but not my type. I sat in the bar and watched a slim Russian redhead beauty sitting in the foyer. She sat there for all the time I was in the bar. She was nice. Ooks like times have changed a lot in the last decade with respect to the mongering scene in Dubai.

I mongered heavily in Dubai from Jan 2011 up until the end of 2012 before returning to India for good. I tell you mongering in India cannot beat Dubai in terms of quality and variety. In those 2 years, I mainly ventured into various apartment brothels run by PRC madams. Believe it or not the first contact of a brothel I got was from my dads cellphone and I lost my virginity to a hot busty PRC hooker at age 21. It was the best sex I had in my life, that first time, I can still remember it so vividly even though 9 years have since passed. Damages were only AED 200 then for an hour with 2-3 shots included. Most of these places were in the Bur Dubai area. The girls were just too good in terms of service, lots of DFK and even helped to towel dry me after my shower at the end of the deed, help me put on my clothes and shoes. That was the level of service. I also ventured into the MPs and got a few happy endings and TA+BA. "Happy Valley" was one of these Thai spas where these encounters took place. Not sure if it still exists today. Then towards the end 2012, I discovered the York Hotel and even stayed there for a night. In those days its was full of PRC girls. Met a couple of hot girls in the small pub on the right just as you enter the hotel. The girls had apartments a few blocks away and I would follow them there for some hours of bliss. Headed out to the Regent Hotel opposite and decided it was not worth at the hotel lobby when the guy told me there was a AED 100 or 150 cover charge to enter. So took a taxi to Jules Pub. Full of Filipinas decked with heavy make up to have too much attitude up their butts to even look at you unless you are a white male. Had a drink there, watched the live band play for sometime before returning to the York club. Picked up a hot Vietnamese. The figure and dressing style of Mortisha from Addams family and a hot oriental face. Fixed the deed for AED 500 for 2 shots. She escorted me out of the hotel to her apartment in her chauffeur driven car. Was really nervous inside the cab thinking the the river could be an under cover cop and this whole thing could be a sting. She told me to pay the guy AED 50 on reaching her apartment block before alighting. Paid him AED 20 and told him to F off. Once inside the room the girl started her drama the AED 100 extra for the room. Paid that well as did not want to spoil the mood. Overall a very average hurried experience with no DFK and mechanical sex. Once the deed was over, headed back home.
