I neither recommend nor discourage Centro visits. It is what it is, and it is not or everybody. I can offer a compromise. The girls around nearby Raudal are generally more attractive. There is a catch, Raudal can be dodgier than Veracruz. It is not a place where you want to put a foot wrong.
