This might be too much information but it will show details of every case in Thailand. There is an English option at the bottom.

Of the 61 cases in the province 24 are in Banglamung, which is the district containing Pattaya City (source: Chonburi Provincial Public Health Office, widely reported).
The most recent analysis of the Banglamung cases that I have found is from 1-April, at which time there were 20 confirmed cases in the district, so the most recent 4 cases are not included. Sixteen of the 20 were Pattaya City, 2 in Nong Prue (which is vaguely what we term "The Dark Side" 1 each in Takhian Tia (inland area north of Nong Prue) and Huay Yai (inland area south of Nong Prue). (Source: Banglamung Public Health Department via Pattaya Mail).
It should be noted that cases are counted where they are found, so anyone who took part in the exodus when things started to be shut down and subsequently fell ill in another district or province will not be in the Banglamung numbers.
Apologies for any errors in transliteration, but I have used the (frequently flawed) Google Maps spelling to be consistent.

You got people who will use stats but as I noted in past reports the government leaders are grasping for straws although they are doing the best they can under the conditions. Many of the leaders and experts have very little expertise in their field their jobs were given to them due to family Thais, they are all part of the swamp you have a government who believe to make government work there has to be corruption and telling a white lie is good for the people so when it comes to stats and charts I take it with a grain of salt. Thailand, an Asian country is no different than China, they come from the same school of thought " Art of War " deflect and lie.
I was wrong! I thought there would be a lot more places opened, I predicted there were be more massage, GC, sneaking around opened but no they have pretty much all closed down. Even the Darkside prior opened the rules seem to have kicked in mostly now take out. Things though are still inconsistent you can't buy a dustpan, garbage can, shoes, underwear at Big see, but you can at a local store. A week ago you couldn't find a mask or Alcohol gel, now they are everywhere even with sports logos on them.
The cat is away so the mouse will play? It has been a month I've been alone the family is stuck up in the farm it was decided everyone stay in place so been working on the house and playing a bit at night with my cousin who got stuck here since his flight was canceled by Eva 25th, of March. Prior to all this, I hooked up with a girl at Bacarra since the closure she has been freelancing with me and my cousins taking her to a Thai local resort for LT, but the other night before curfew I told her we need to stop since she was getting too close and when too close their real self comes out.
As for water, as you noted for some time it has been a problem, the first to know are usually those who live outside of town like me, people have no idea that Pattaya builds a lot of roads but have zero in facilities to save all the water from the rain, majority of it goes into the sea. Much of the water even in shortage is given so the hotels can operate but this year it is different much different. The general population is starting to complain water is now being turn off for days and like yesterday I myself was having a tough time buying it.

As of now there is nothing to go out to except getting food to bring back home. Pattaya is a ghost town. Everything not food related is shut down. Even in Big see, if it is not food related they have the sections blocked off. A lot of places that were bars, restaurants, or massage parlors are even empty of furnishings now.
People are still gathering in groups to eat and drink though; or at least they are outside where I live. They say well it is only friends. And that is the exact reason the curfew started today. Don't know if I can preach about it because I do have a chick come stay every other day. Most of the chicks that I know have gone back home and the ones still here are scared to come out, but there are still plenty on Thai Friendly and Tinder.

Here is an article from the New England Journal of Medicine.
Aerosol and Surface Stability of SARS-CoV-2 as Compared with SARS-CoV-1.
https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMc2004973
Here is another article. I can't find the medical article for this piece of information. I had seen it yesterday.
You may be able to spread coronavirus just by breathing, new report finds.

Please stay home everyone and keep Thailand safe. The less people moving around will keep the curve low. It has gotten dire in America. Personal friends in NYC say it is awful.
Wear a mask!! At least you have them in Thailand.

The Chonburi Governor has announced a further list of closures effective immediately. First on the list is "all hotels" including similar businesses such as guesthouses and bed & breakfasts. There is an exception "If a hotel still has guests, they must inform the local jurisdiction office within three business days or if they wish to stay open for current guests. ".
The article states that the local hotel association had pushed for the closure order as staff were not entitled to Social Security benefits if hotels shut without a Government order (e. G. Due to low occupancy levels). Unsaid is the wish to prevent an influx of people seeking to escape areas where the virus is more widespread (particularly Phuket and Bangkok), thus bringing possible infection with them to a province where incidence has been mercifully low thus far.
My hotel informs me that they are making the application to remain open for existing guests, but one of the conditions will be no new bookings or check-ins.
For anyone, like me, holed up in a Pattaya (or elsewhere in Chonburi Province) hotel I STRONGLY recommend that you check the situation with your hotel management. I mean Management, the Receptionist may not be aware of the situation. Also ask that they keep you updated on developments and check with them regularly.
Establishments with low occupancy may seize the chance to close and lay off staff because it is more economical to do so than staying open for few guests, turfing remaining customers out at just the time when none of the hotels remaining are allowed to take them in.
Other closures include all beaches and tattoo / body piercing parlours. I guess I shall have to wait a while to get my Prince Albert done!

I remember one of my friend's wife she was diagnosed with a brain tumor her mother told her there was this Chinese medicine that helped with a friend of a friend so she tried it thereafter she got sick it was determined it had toxin that damaged her liver so she had to hold off on the surgery luckily things turn out okay On a closer note, my Thai wife coming off cancer treatment years back purchased the " magic mushroom " bullshit from China being sold in a local market near the house I remember that stuff being touted in the USA In the Chinese community in the late 80's the FDA put an end to that shit ASAP. I was just returning from a visit to the USA When I return saw she was sick as a dog thought relapse but found out she drank the stuff and took ill immediately. Not going to tell you what I did to the vendor who sold it.
Today even with the Internet the youth of Thailand seem no better zero critical thinking I see it in my daughter-in-law who is academically smart but socially stupid as they come. The more time my son spends with her the more he is becoming like her. Everything is brand name you see on T.V. or the Internet can't think for themselves follow like dogs and monkeys. Sure I too have people in my circle the difference how I see it is they had the opportunity of critical thinking taught to them they choose not to use it because they can't get past their ego and old age stubbornness even with that said you can at least sit and lay into them for being stupid Thais don't have the privilege they have been brainwashed " the more patriotic the more stupid " which translate into the excuse they love to use " this is thailand " you can't even have a simple conversation without them losing face once that happens they just shut down they go through life without criticism as we know that is how you learn at times.
Yes, today it is only pain before it was worse close to hate but I realized one day I couldn't continue feeling and doing what I was doing if something had happened to me there wasn't going to be anyone to raise my son so I had to reinvent myself leave my ego at the border and if that meant kissing some ass to make it happen I would. It hasn't been easy but things are better today but the pain is pushed down and expressed here at times. Funny on some other threads my words and feeling are considered bashing of Thais I wish there were more positive than negatives and I wish what I've gone through and experience no one will ever have to experience themselves. The reason my brother and others keep telling me I should write a book but as you can see that isn't going to happen.
I've tried many times to write some of my experiences here in Thailand it becomes so long never have enough time and don't know how to save it get timed out and it all gets erased.
