All I can say is when commerce began to crash in Bangkok, the malls and shopping areas were practically empty and many were shutting down ASAP while Nana and Soi Cowboy bar areas were still hanging on and often about as crowded as usual for weeks later. This was before the flight cancellations and tourist bans.

It turns out you can shop anywhere in the world. Don't have to fly to Thailand for that or to see temples or to eat Thai food. But if you want to see, meet and possibly have P4P with Thai go-go girls, BJ Bar girls, in soapies and so on, you pretty much have to come to Thailand for it.

Impossible to give a guarantee that "monger banging" is at any time 100% safe. No matter how remote even practicing safe sex STD's are always a possibility, perfection as a concept does not exist, all truth is relative.
