This covid thing seems to be working out in my favor. I have chicks that usually want money wanting to come over for free simply because they are bored.

The lockdown is real. I just tried to take my LT from last night home to Khao Talo and they had it blocked off with concrete barriers at the railroad tracks. She walked across and a motorbike taxi picked her up on the other side.

Just write "what time you come?"

    Beach road retards

Some days ago I complained about the abysmal quality on Beach Road / Hobbit Street.

Yesterday during my evening constitutional I came across a girl who looked marginally better than the Beach Road ordinary. She took my line ID and messaged me late at night. The deal was for her to come today at 2 pm.

Her asking price was 700. Maybe this was too cheap to be true and should have made me sit up and take noticed. This morning at 9 she sent me a short message, so I thought so far so good.

Well she ended up standing me up. When I called her at 2:30 she garbled something I couldn't possibly understand. She still sounded like she wanted to come but what more could I say to have her actually come? I had answered "yes" to all her requisites already.

Those girls are not right in the head. Must be lead poisoning.

I'll stick to Thaifriendly for new recruits. Quality not far above Beach Road but less brain-damaged.

I mentioned in the Bangkok Reports thread that I had the occasion to visit a GF in the ER of Sukhumvit Hospital last Saturday afternoon.

I half expected an ER at a high profile hospital like that one near Ekkamai and a doable walking distance from Asian and Farang expat and long term visitor neighborhoods to be teaming with Covid-19 patients with their worried friends and next of kin occupying every seat in the waiting room.

Nothing like it. I sailed right in. The parking lot was not even 1/4 full. There were no more than 5 people in the ER and the main waiting room area combined. The GF I went to be with was possibly the only person waiting for a Covid-19 test result and hers turned out not to be Covid-19 but ordinary influenza instead.

And it must have been an extremely mild case of the flu at that. She was sending me video clips from.her condo on Line of herself giggling, dancing and shaking her butt that same evening.

I met a chick on Thai Friendly yesterday and went to pick her up at 4 pm. Decided to ride around Pattaya to see what was going on. It was empty down Beach Road and on to Walking Street. Kept going to Jomtien and NaJomtien. Came back through Pratumnak. Things in Jomtien and Pratumnak appear as they always do. Many people out walking around and people at the beach and swimming. Complete opposite of what the ghost town of the tourist sections of Pattaya north and south are.

We got to my room at 6 pm. Hard to believe we were riding for 2 hours. This place must be bigger than I think it is. She sat around the room all day today naked. Didn't ask for food or anything. Finally at 4 pm I asked her if she wanted to go to her room or stay. She said she just needed to get a change of clothes. Even though she did not ask for money, I dropped her off and gave her 1000 baht (since she said she used to work at a bar on 13/1) and said I would see her later. She keeps sending me messages talking about she is studying her English. Already perfect to me. She was over here saying words in English that I needed a dictionary for!

Now I am on the way to Naklua to spend the night with a chick I met on TF a couple of weeks ago. That day she said she was looking for P4P. We made a deal for 1000 baht LT. She was a real freak. 22 years old. Begging to lick my ass and everything. I had to drag her out of here the next day. She was staying with a friend off Arunotai but has now gotten her own place and wants me to come over. I told her that I did not have money but she still wants me to come stay with her. So I better get out of here to beat the curfew.

Plan seems to be to stop entry with checkpoints from (1) anywhere east of the railway (the dark side and the end of Highway7) (2) From the south around about where Jomtien becomes Na Jomtien on Sukhumvit. So after Beach Road turns inland (3) From the north from Sukhumvit somewhere around Soi Naklua 2.
Thanks for the heads up! At my morning coffee waterhole whole by an old Thai guy who I called the General, he at one time must have been really powerful either military or police. He owns a lot of land in prime areas on the Darkside and the cars he and his family member drive are some really expensive imports.

I noticed the other day he had a big tent outside his restaurant with chairs I asked the waitress and she indicate Covi 19 will start stopping the vehicle and taking occupants temperatures? His checkpoint isn't too far from Soi Siam, from your map indication with the lack of manpower it would be tough to keep residents from traveling in and out of the Darkside especially all the motorbikes. Based on the maps there are just too many holes.

Nevertheless, I've pretty much cut down on going into town unless I need to use the Aeon ATM, the Darkside isn't as dark as people think, there isn't the large Big see's but we have more 7/11, Mini Tesco, Mini Big see, CJ's, all well stock than anywhere in the province. Then you got two of the largest Thai local market anywhere a booming business is still happening along with all the shops to buy any essential or not, today it seems there are more trucks cruising up and down Soi Siam selling fruits from up north, Durian seem to be in season. You can't go hungry even if you try, food and drinks stand open everywhere then you got all those sidecars selling bowls of noodles, cut fruit running through local neighborhoods.

It has been rumored for year they will build a large Big see or Tesco when that happens I wouldn't even side the tourist side except for? I just don't think it will happen but I've been wrong before!

Don't see a 24 hour curfew, perhaps an extension 9 to 6.24 hour makes no sense. The population will not stand for it. People have to eat, go to work, so many exemptions makes it unworkable. That said who knows TIT.

Assuming working girls will get the 5000 payment is not a basis to feel they will be OK. Some of the more savvy will know how to register to get it but many will not even try.

I know a couple of girls who applied for the government money and neither of them got it. One has been a freelancer and therefore could not show a missing "paycheck" from an employer to be replaced. The other owned a clothing shop that closed due to lack of customers and had the same problem; no regular "paycheck" from an employer has gone missing and therefore there is nothing the government can measure or account for to replace.

Somewhat similar to the way Unemployment Insurance is done in the USA. For now anyway.

Regarding hotels guests not being thrown onto the streets, I think many guests bailed out in anticipation of closures. I took out a monthly condo rental when I saw the guests at my hotel dwindle to a handful.

    XXL,

You are of course correct that there was a mass exodus 2-3 weeks ago.

I just wanted to paint an accurate picture for the few of us left! The OP's "all hotels closed" post did not reflect the totality of the situation, and so may have caused alarm.

Hope you maintained appropriate social distancing whilst entertaining the lady. Do share some Thai jokes, or instructions for origami!

The closure order allows businesses and staff to claim the reliefs available from the Government, which they could not if they close voluntarily. Hotels may apply to stay open for existing guests. Chonburi are also obtaining a count of hotel guests and their checkout dates. My hotel spoke with me on Saturday to confirm that they will remain open (I think they are moving in guests from their other properties in town. I know at least 2 of their other properties have been mothballed).

I have seen no reports on here of people being thrown onto the streets, yet?
This being Thailand particularly Pattaya there are businesses that are in the up and up and then you got many not including the people they hired that will determine whether they get relief.

Today, although I haven't seen or heard from them for years I got two messages on Line asking me for money, then I answer an unknown call once she identifies herself I said to myself another but to my surprise (older provider) just called to say Hello, to see how I was doing but I kept waiting for the pitch for money but it never came she is now out of the business living in the sticks doing okay On her own kids are all grown up and gone. Said she is horny and when things settle if I ever go to Bangkok give her a call.

At last XXL somebody who doesn't think the girls are doing just fine, lying, scamming, camming.

Nobody is saying because they service our sexual needs they are automatically entitled to be looked after but please can we stop describing them as lazy con women who laugh at people who help them and describing those that do as being blinded by pussy.

If somebody don't want to help, OK, don't no problem no issues, but don't denigrate those that do and suggest they are being taken in by scheming illiterate farm girls from Essan. This prevents people who might want to help from actual helping.

Not everybody is in a position to help and not every request for help is genuine but there is hardship out there for working girls who will not be entitled to social security payments. Hopefully the government will soon ensure all Thai's no matter how they made a living will be given some payments while this madness lasts but I wouldn't bet on it.

Thanks XXL for shining a light on the reality of what's happening out there.

We should help where we can.

    Stay safe.

    Some girls in dire straights?
