    Other Options

Other easy-to-get-to options in that category would be The Hotel M (a / k / a The Mansion a / k / a / Casa Blanca) in Medellin and Campo Alegre in Curaao. The former is still closed, as far as I know, due to the pandemic and the latter has reportedly been forced into bankruptcy, but when things open up again I wouldn't be surprised if both those places opened as well. There's also the Hotel Del Rey in San Jose, Costa Rica. I like both "the chase" and the "point and click"; it all depends on time, distance, money, opportunity, and my state of mind. LMK if and when you make your BB's reservations; I might be there too.

Thank you for the reply I am in fact on their email list. Coming that early is likely a pipe dream. But I know that for me personally if I don't put a loose plan together then I will let other things get in the way and it won't happen. I've been telling myself for more than 10 years that I was going to make a trip to Pattaya needless to say I have not done that. The Chase does not interest me I had considered the DR as a destination previously. But was not willing to pay the outrageous cost of something like blue paradise or Playboy vacations. And chasing tail in Sosua easy as it may be is not my cup of tea. I honestly didn't know BB's existed until after the world was already in lockdown for covid-19. If it weren't for a misspelled Google search and a write-up from rockit reports I would still be in the dark. I am a total greenhorn to P4P or international travel for that matter. Having read every scrap of information that is available on this forum pertaining to BB's for me it's an absolute no-brainer. I cannot think of one single question to ask that has not already been answered tenfold by the wealth of information that is available in this thread. My time is so limited that's the point and click nature in close proximity to Kansas City where I live is fucking perfect. Reading this forum has gotten me acquainted with who the legends both ladies and guests are past and present and I can't wait to get my pasty white ass down there.

    No Word Yet on Reopening

It would appear that they will be opening airports countrywide July 1st. Although I will not be able to travel that soon I hope to get in late July early August. Consistent numbers across multiple websites are saying 40 to 50% hotels will open in July with the remainder in November. Just curious if anyone has an inside scoop on the situation with BB?

I take an uber taxi from Santo Domingo airport to either metro bus or caribe tours. Then I take the bus to Puerto Plata. You can take an uber or motoconcho from Puerto Plata bus station to Blakbeards which is very close. This is very cost effective, comfortable buses and may be the best way.

I used Tropiclinks on my last trip, but it was from Santiago. Google their site, but I think they have service from SD. https://www.tropiclink.net. It is a shared ride, on their website, it says they can go from SD to Blackbeards. They have a US number that you can call for info and pricing on your exact dates. If you read deep in the Sosua forum, you might find bus info from SD, I know I have read about it in the past, but can't direct you to a thread at the moment. This may be a cheaper way if you can figure it out.

More than likely they have the girl price in pesos loosely pegged to the USD. When you look at their website everything is in USD; nothing is in DOP.

  8. #992

    Not really.

Price for ST in USD in January 2018-$37, in September 2019-$49. So about one third price hike in dollars, not in pesos!

Brazil recently became cheaper for everything by about 30-50% comparing to DR. Last week I checked air ticket prices for this fall and it was cheaper than DR. Brazil is better in every way besides the flight time. It's not an option for short trips, but for a week or two, I would choose Brazil.

    The hotel staff, in particular.
In the BB newsletter the owner John, mentioned that the government was giving employees a portion of their salary on 4/15 & he was giving them the difference in what they were making. Also gave all the chicas some $ for food, etc and donated all the food on hand to split among them all.

Precision vs Accuracy (There is a difference)

When looking at inflation inside a country you do not look at exchange rates. The selling of pussy is a service. You only get to use the pussy for a specified period of time at certain rate. You do not ever own it. Even if you marry it! So the price of that service is not tied to the rate of exchange of any other currency outside of the country the service is being provided in.

A Dominican Peso is a Dominican Peso is a Dominican Peso peso to a Dominicana inside of Republica Dominicana.

Now let's examine this statement. I am forced to make some assumptions because the complete details are not given by OP.

In order to measure the change of a certain amount of money due to inflation in a given country you must know the amount of money and the period of time being measured. We do not have those exact numbers. But we have an idea. The OP gave a reference of 30 DOP to 1 USD. The exchange rate app I use gave 36 DOP to 1 USD in 2010 (no data past then and I didn't bother to look). So let's take 1500 DOP and check what the value of it would be in 2020 based on the historic rate of inflation in Republica Dominicana: 2161 DOP (rounding). That gives you a real price increase of a "Short Time" session with the pussy at Blackbeards Resort of around 240 DOP give or take a DOP.

Now if your economy is in USD and you started buying a session with the pussy for 1500 DOP at 30 DOP to 1 USD you were paying 50 USD. If are now paying 2500 DOP for the same session at 54 DOP to 1 USD (April 2020) you are now paying 46.30 USD. That is 3. 70 USD (7. 4%) less for your session with the pussy at Blackbeards Resort. Due to the currency markets you are currently receiving a discount. But remember markets go up and they go down. Some of you hard working people out there with large 401 (k) balances out there are learning that the hard way right now. Just remember it is not a loss until you sell.

Have the prices for pussy session at Blackbeard's gone up higher than the rate of inflation in DOP? Yes! Is the individual who earns their money in USD paying more? No! You see the math does not change if you have a job or are currently restricted from traveling to Republica Dominicana because the DR government is trying to get a handle on the worldwide pandemic on their part of the island right now.

There is a difference between precision and accuracy. Not bad for a man in the arena who can't spell, eh? But I can do basic math. And I've been doing it for a long time as I learned how in elementary school. I've also picked up a bit of knowledge about currency markets and exchange rates over the years.

I'll keep posting until the computer game of life hits me with COVID-19. I'll fight it until: Game over! If you do not see me here anymore, look for me in the statistics. LOL!

Note: to make the calculation I used the following site that also makes a few assumptions based on the historical data it has available. Check it out for yourself.

Shipmate prices have gone up again. Not too much but they have gone up none the less.

Short term: $2,500 (one session) $50 USD.

All night: $4,500 (two sessions) $90 USD.

Exclusive: $6,500 (three sessions) $130 USD.

Regardless of price I always give a tip if the service was great and it usually is for me. Always let them know your expectations up front and enjoy the time!

I'm looking forward to a huge grand re-opening party and partaking in all sorts of life-affirming activities then.

I do not know why a set up like this need language skills. I am not sure if all the girls get health check ups. Even then what I heard was there was no BBFS on site. Maybe in private you can arrange with a individual girl.

The beach around is not as lively as Sosua.
Interesting perspective. I suspect there was an inclination to find fault.

Most were ugly? Not my experience. There is usually a broad spectrum, to suit every taste. Suggest anyone look at the newsletter, and you can see for yourself.

The good looking ones get fucked a lot? Like the good looking ones in Sosua don't service more clients than the others? Really? Looking for a pretty girl in Sosua that hasnt seen a lot of action?

Not sure why a set up like this needs language skills? Seriously? Much better to communicate with your partner than pointy-talky.

Yes the girls do get medical checkups monthly. And while I can appreciate the benefits of bareback, do you really want unprotected sex with a girl that has serviced many clients in the past week?

It takes all kinds to make a world.

I wonder how those that were kicked out managed this challenge. What if were was no plane seats available to their destination? Could they have rent an apartment for a few days on short notice? If yes at what rate? I suppose when you go to BB, it would be better to have more than one credit card, plenty of cash, a list of potential apartment owners or managers. There is a possibility of being stuck in DR if the second wave of the virus craziness will hit while you are there.
We must remember that this is a very unique situation. Unprecedented in our lifetime. Such occurrences are very unusual. That said, if one checks Air BNB, I have found accommodations available in Costambar.
