Trying to control R0 after confined, Germany even think about maybe cancelling legendary cultural Oktoberfest. Germany succeed because being very careful about virus. Austrian which was first to reopen should not reopen brothels until at least 2 months. Maybe in July?

Germany which just reopen have already R0 increasing from 0,6/0,7 to 1 , when danger above 1 , they are preparing for a second wave when already more than 5500 deaths, much lower than in France with around 30 000 and UK which will be more around 40 000.

What you say does not apply to my Chinese friends. As for the meat eating practices of the Chinese: the vast majority oppose the eating of dogs and the Government is beginning to circumscribe the wet markets.

And Japan, number of cases just exploded right after Olympics got cancelled.

Not cancelled, Olympics are just delayed, but for sure Japan didn't want. I just wish they will find a better time than Summer on 2021, because not good weather for performances and can even be dangerous for marathon, long walk races.
