It is most likely that there will be a continuing stream of new cases accompanied by negative press reports until a vaccine is found regardless of the real death rate and actual danger to the general public. The lockdown will end soon because it must, but allowing any foreigners back in without these restrictions is another issue that I do not believe the vast majority of Thais will support. Of course the Thai government can change it's policy in this regard at a moment's notice and there is pressure from the tourist industry to do so, but I don't hold out much hope. As a respectful consideration of the time and effort you put into the above I had thought of a longer reply delving into empirically grounded cultural and societal gender disparities in different societies and how it applied to sexual interactions but I felt at the end of the day that would be pointless. While your observations have some merit, I think you are leaving out one important factor. The vast majority of these men do not have the ability to travel, do not have the ability to take care of a gal, and are trying to sell themselves on their personality and if they have any, looks alone.
