My heart says I'd love to see AC come back bigger and better than before but my (big) head is sceptical.

I don't think it would be too hard to have a look around at the other successful monger areas or wider business world and emulate them. Jeez, Pattaya WS and Puket have litterally bus loads of tourist arrive to gawk and oooh and ayah at the bright lights and sights. The whole online world has moved to transparency of service and performance based pay structures. Pay what I ask, for an unknown service level, and fuck off if you don't like it is a receipe for disaster.

    Cheers. G.

No argument here, it used to be a fun town, now it's a shadow of its former glory. Coming to think of it, during my last visit (February) I did barhop and bought a few mamas drinks in exchange for some chismis about current state of affairs, but barfined exactly zero girls. All my romps were either sourced online or HiSo, which are the new fishponds, cutting out the middlemen. I also did a regular for a few days, but she appears to be tracking the AC quality index, so that was likely my last time with her.

But, Fields and especially Perimiter have been down for count before, and managed to swing back. We'll see.

A valid point but there are many areas around the world where mongering has fallen out of favour and whole precincts have been shut down, "commissions" notwithstanding.

AC has been a failing business model for a long time now. As the bright lights and fun places have been replaced with seedy bars there has been less and less political will to support it.

They are all on the opinion that entertainment district will close down and none of the bars will be allowed to open after lockdown. Korean owned casinos, bars with hotels outside fields avenue will be allowed to open with restrictions. All were told to go home and maybe will be hired back. All have no place to go to without money. Families only like you if you bring in the bacon to fatten their stomachs. Koreans will hire only the ' Doll ' types when they open. All the rest have no options but to move god knows where. There is no place comparable to Angeles city in Philippines. Koreans are the only ones going there for now. Government cannot afford to shutdown Korean businesses. Government would want Angeles city to be upscale entertainment and manufacturing business destination. Just like myriad of casinos and upscale karaoke bars in Manila. No more run of the mill cheap bars with hundreds of girls. Well anyway this is what the girls think.
Well, the party had to end sometime. All of the Western pensioners who moved to AC for the cheap bars and even cheaper pussy will have to adapt or move on. Many will take their chances with the street pussy lurking in the back alleys.

My 2 cents is that it will spike and get worse as the high density plus small number of tests will mean more cases etc. Add to the that what on pinay said is the 'hard headed ignorant' attitude of many equals a possible recipe for disaster. Look at USA as this will spike now many Trump supporting states says lets open and do our thing without test at a safe number.

At least the President is trying hard and even threatened the country with martial law a few weeks back if people did not obey the rules. But despite this I read about 130 k violations!

People are dreaming of they think they can return to the country before July at the earliest and even then likely restrictions with possible 14 days in a hotel and all alone- not bode well for the short term 10 monger to AC or an other city!

DG. I agree was chatting with GE on this and we said what happened to the billions of dollars of aid that was raised from Yolanda. Plus current complaints of not getting he hand out at all or being short changed by the barangay people. Nothing changes in that respect as pinoy will / can / does s**t on each other when cash is concerned. Sad but I know some cuties whose families have not received the hand out etc.

After a speed reading through it, it seems foreigners will be subject to rapid testing upon arrival and will have to wait for the results in a facility (I think for 14 days). If the results are negative you will then self quarantine for 14 days.

Well agreed, so that's depend on individual whether any restrictions is suitable for him. So if you can't afford a long holiday, then its not feasible. Can't expect too much in this pandermic. Maybe better to stay put and find alternatives.

And also the countries where he was in from past 14 days is very important for kind of restrictions made towards him.

Looking from the top virus numbers chart, some countries definitely are in the doldrums and will be barred entry.

The low virus ones will have easier access and less stringent.

Guess some of these unlucky people will be eating sour grapes for quite awhile but its inenvitable.

As for those already there, its a matter whether you can get a live in partner to ride through the ECQ as most accomodations don't allow visitors and transportation halted.

Once moved into GCQ, first thing for me is to change the girl.

I predict that countries will also demand that visitors seeking visas of any form will have to satisfy very specific criteria such as provision of a health certificate obtained within 72 hours before travel and health / travel insurance cover of at least $25000 USD. Cambodia has already instituted this requirement for visitors once the borders are opened, but the travel insurance coverage is $50,000 USD. PH is likely to follow this trend.
I agree with GE and RK on this. Some countries I had planned to visit for work now demand COVID 19 free certificate issued ONE day before arrival. This can be impractical if flying half way across the globe.

The need for medical insure is already required for non Europeans visiting Schengen on a visit visa (Euro 30000) so I will not be surprised if the Philippines introduced this.

As for restricting foreigners. Am sure many countries what no one from the USA visiting anytime soon as well as people from selected European countries. This is sensible (unless they have the correct certificates or something) followed by 14 days somewhere. Meaning you likely can't monger etc. So for a short time wham bang thank you maam visit to AC or anywhere you spend 14 days playing with yourself watching porn LOL.

Certainly the country needs FDI and cash as some say but also there seems to be many dreamers on the board or mongers with extremely large blue balls letting their todger to the thinking and writing LOL.

Foreigners are not banned from entering the Philippines, but foreigners without a permanent visa (a 13 A) or a Philippines passport cannot yet get a visa.

I have a 13 A, and when I enter next week (hopefully) I will be tested and then allowed to go to my designated home address for self-quarantining for 14 days.

    Entry Into The Philippines

Guys I have been monitoring the situation daily for any updates and official information and it seems there has been some news. I am just trying to scrape to together the various bits of official info to get the complete picture. It would be great to discuss this and for others to add what they know from official sources without rumour or conjecture.

Philipines just finished distributing cash assistance of 200 billion to 18 million poor families working out to be 5-8 k pesos per family, likely slightly more than 1 k a person.

The country is desperate and much more is the President.

Every 2-4 weeks, reviews are done whether to move areas from ECQ to GCQ and flights scheduling which routes to resume.
