I'm hoping to get the hell out of NYC this week but a friend who's trying to get to Europe got a note from the airline saying his flight next day was cancelled. He went to the airline web site and tickets were still for sale on the same fucking flight. So thanks AldousM, NewTiger, DaVinci40, Aquawatt, NickR5. Your real firsthand info is gold.

AldousM must be right about the extend of lockdown because my office in CDMX has continued business almost as normal. My bud still goes out to luncher at Centra2 sometimes. Very relieved to hear that Uber and public trans are running. I've been worried about police checkpoints on the street. I know I'm pushing the rules to come visit the office on a tourist visa and don't want trouble over that. Since I found this forum my biggest reason for visiting CDMX is our hobby so that's tourist. Sounds like I will be able to move around the city without having to show my papers everywhere..

So, I can't tell you about the Tlalpan Hotels, but I called three of my favorite places and here are the results.

Roma amor. Reopened recently and does have overnight stays.

Piramides (del valle and narvarte) Closed.

Villas patriotismo. Reopened and have overnight stays.

These are all a bit more expensive than the ones in Tlalpan, but I'd say more upscale and very clean.

Roma is more discreet in location, and not close to any subway stations, so some girls won't want to go. Although I'm not sure if they can afford to be so picky right now.

VP is on a big avenue and close to a well known station.

Anybody know if the Tlalpan hotels like Harare, Mexicali, or Aranjuez are taking overnights now. I read somewhere they were only letting rooms for 3 hours. I've stayed at 3 days at all those and it's more convenient than getting another room every date. I'the prefer to be a walk-in rather than make a reservation online with my real name on it. My bud has been to 18 de Marzo but I don't know that area and would prefer to stay with what I know.

I've been in contact by Whats with three of my regulars. One offered to sell a pack so I sent her twice her 300 peso asking price. The other two didn't ask so I hope that means they're finances are okay for now.

I see people are asking for local's perspectives of the current situation.

I took my last service with Liz Kitzune (can find her on twitter) on the 10th of March. I've been quarantined pretty much since that weekend. Only going out for grocery shopping, and twice to my office.

There was never really a proper lockdown. Other than service industry (movie theaters, hotels, bars and restaurants mostly), most of the city remained working. I've biked past tacubaya, chapultepec, and polanco metro stations, and seen people come in and out. I've seen people waiting in line 5 feet apart to get into combis (vans) all bunched up together. I see people running in parks without masks. Street peddlers have moved into sidestreets, but you can still get late night tacos, and believe me, they don't wash their hands very often.

I think the girls will start to come out this month, even the ones that have been taking care of themselves so far. However I personally will still remain in quarantine at least for two more months. The infection rates per day have not stopped rising, and the weather is about to take a turn for the worst. I'm not comfortable with taking a risk on whether the girl I choose for the night has a common cold, or full on corona.

My two regulars, Khyara and Renolovee will also be extending their quarantine for at least one more month apparently.

I certainly didn't think that my February trip would be my last for a while. I was hoping to maybe get back this summer, but honestly at this point I don't foresee a return before probably Nov / Dec between covid and other life stuff. Hope the ladies we like come through the other side.

Looks like vaccine is still out of sight and it may for next 6 months.

I believe we have to live with it for next 12 to 18 months max.

Bars, nightclubs may not open until August / September. Reports say that.

I saw one girl in Mexico, and she was already mentioned here (helenfitness). But that was some months ago before the virus situation. She was clean, kind, photos pretty accurate. Thumbs up.

As for the situation now, I'll need to do some recon before I can tell you much about hotels or girls. (I rent a studio from someone.) I haven't used the subway in months, but I did use Uber some in past week and it was normal, except you're supposed to wear a mask, which you can buy easily in front of the big grocery stores, where they are required. Some restaurants are open but mostly for takeout. Bakeries and little shops are open.

Thanks for the report Nick R5. I think there's a bunch of us in this forum who don't live in CDMX. Anything you can tell us about conditions on the ground is appreciated. Me I'm a 4 hour bus ride out. We don't know the situation becasue of the stupid quarantine. Where I am there's supposed to be roadblocks where they take your temp and don't let you into town if its high. I wasn't ready to chance that on a trip out of town but your report make it sound like the situation is CDMX is not as bad as a 24 hour curfew. Sounds like I could Uber from the bus station to hotel and back if one of my regulars can help recommend a hotel for a couple of nights. I'm hearing some hotels in Tlalpan are open but not for overnights.
