One more thinig to contribute here that I didn't see posted anywhere, forgive me if I repeating information. All of these medications operate as vasal constrictors so the offset to that is actually something like pseudoephedrine. Unfortunately that is not available in many countries over the counter like thailand due to all the misuse so you would have to bring it with you. I have had sinus issues and am a scuba diver so I always travel with some and have found that it is effective after the act to keep the headaches and stuff nose at bay. I agree with you. There are still rare occasions this may be useful. You call when it is the 1% that you are not sure about. I think you have said 99% of the time you can tell, that leaves us the 1%. Sometimes it is after you are in the room, you think it is too easy so you start to have question. Calling the receptionist discretely to confirm is the easier method. It takes less than a minute. You are not calling the receptionist to check every one of them.

I'm planning a trip down to Pattaya as well, but not before the curfew is removed. Pattaya makes no sense at all if you need to be tucked in bed by 11 pm. In normal times, Beach Road doesn't get going properly before 8 pm and if they all need to start going home at 10 pm, that leaves a ridiculously small window. Once upon a time, there was some afternoon action, but that has been gone for several years now.

From what I've seen so far online, the scene doesn't seem too lively. One way to judge is to look through recent Pattaya videos on YouTube, and they don't seem encouraging at all. Even before the lockdown, pickings on Beach Road were dire, and I doubt many girls would return before the tourists do, but I might be wrong.

First off, I like to give a nice shout out to Brian and the Night Wish Group and some of his buddies I have met on this trip. Agreed, seeing ID is the best way. If "girl" don't show it, no need to ask her to come. I can see use of paying hotel guy approach too, but not so affecting as previous one. But checking it while the person in question is in shower is weird. Also LBs are known to be aggressive and last thing I would want is him throwing a fit in room.
