Also posted a photo of a young lovely who put a smile on Menteng's face back in 2005. I remember having lunch with Menteng, Bulai69, JAD, this young lady (a college student at the time) plus a barely-legal incredible knockout whose name escapes me other than that it began with the letter"O". Our lunch was at the cafe to the right of Sarinah's main entrance (with McDonald's on the left). I also ran into this same lovely six months later in a non-mongering situation, I don't think she remembered me but I certainly recognized her. Since she was around work colleagues, I decided to not mention Menteng.

Funny, inspired by OS I also took a stroll down memory lane and wanted to post a photo of OCHA, MS. However, I did not manage to upload anything.

We all had to walk around the big fat rat that was curled up and sleeping on the carpet in the corridor, I pointed it out to the cleaning boy who was leaning on his mop, and he looked at me as if I was demanding that the family cat be removed from the hearthrug in front of the fire.

That rat's name was Mari. The place was named Maribaya in that rat's honor.

No it was always grim and pokey, not all of the photos below were taken in the 6th Floor. I remember going to one of the rooms on a Sunday afternoon with five girls (I was younger, more foolish and richer, mind you they only charged 350 each at that time, and it was hard to refuse the entreaty 'one more ladies mister?' from the massed ranks). Are those pics all from Maribaya? I'm probably showing my age but I remember the place as dark and grimy. Those actually look tolerable.

Did they lash out and do a refurb late in life?

You must be thinking of some other Sari. I am pretty sure this girl was loyal to only me. Yes, she worked at Maribaya, but I think she only talked with the other guys. Nothing more.

...Here's a girl you might know OS. Maya was a wild one. I liked it when she dyed her hair orange for a while. You don't often see that. She told me she went upstairs with customers between 5 and 8 times a day. So she was doing close to 2000 guys a year. I'm guessing just talking, of course.

Yes, I also like the orange hair. Checking Smoothy's math, a Maribaya girl like Sari who worked 25 days a month (time off for her period) times 10 1/2 months (time off for Ramadan and Eid-al-Fitr) times 6 customers a day = 1,575 and that's conservative, since some Maribaya girls worked during the early part of Ramadan, and many girls would work during their period.

Got a kick out of Smoothy's 5th photo, the ridiculously high heels that she was wearing. Reminds me of one afternoon a couple of years ago when Smoothy and I visited one of the PengJay spots. The young lovely who I chose was wearing heels that were easily 10 inches or more, she could barely walk up the stairs to our room. It was amusing when she finally took off her heels in the room and shrunk nearly a foot in height to her real height of 149/150 cms.

Since this is the photo gallery, I decided to post the uncropped version of the young lady from Maribaya (2006) that I had posted last week, the purpose of this photo was to show the after-effects of "cupping" a traditional medical practice in Indonesia. Again, this young lovely worked at Maribaya from aged 17/18 to 21 then married a bule and presumably left the business for good. Realistically there were not many Indonesian working girls who I would have considered marrying (other than maybe Cynthia / Sintia from Kartika), but I might have considered this young lady if the situation had presented itself.

It was Ko that completely missed your joke. I only made it into Maribaya a couple of times around the years being discussed and can't remember any of the girl's names. No idea if I met her or not, but I had fun there.

Considering she worked at Maribaya brothel for a good number of years, that likely puts her number of partners at around 5,000. Give or take a few hundred.

Yes, yes, so true. Many times I have walked into those establishments with a couple of my Indonesian buddies from the office and the mamasan told us many of the girls there were not available for "naik" because they were loyal to OS.

We will all die even OS. Age is not relevant as the disease affects all ages not only the so-called elderly. Huge percentage under 45. Even triatheletes have been close to death in the ICU. The healthy appreciate you showing some self-control and maturity.

Ya for sure. Rules and rules. OS recognises their role. But the important distinction is they are there for the obedience of fools and the guidance of the wise.

OS is rather puzzled at why he must stop something that gives him so much pleasure in order to save some old people who were going to die anyway and a whole pile of fat people who won't look after themselves but expect OS to do so.
