Thanks to the great Guvnor there, the numbers of infected are sky-high and will potentially remain so in July at least. I would avoid using either FLL or MIA, on the way down, as a connecting airport.

I am getting 58+ DOP to 1 from my bank card (tarjeta). And that is low. I am seeing 60.1 cash (effectivo) at the cambios.

Now it should be noted that chicas are on a DOP economy. But most individuals visiting /(non Dominicans living here) are not. They are on the economy of the currency they earn their money in. That is why I advise everyone know your prices in DOP. That is know how much something should cost in DOP (non gringo markup), but think in the currency your are paying for your own economic situation. That is your real cost!

A chart is attached. I like to keep in mind the value of a 500 DOP note in my own currency. I make a note of that amount and just work in multiples of that number.

Nothing for nothing but there have been some real effects from economic disruption from the State of Emergency (SOE) here in Republica Dominicana.
One example is the increase in prices of basic goods. A bag of limons used to be 169 DOP in November of 2019. Just bought the same bag last week for 365 DOP. For those of us interested in that sort of thing (and I just happen to be) if you do the math that is a 116% increase. Now I did not do the math in my head. I used a percentage difference app on my phone (yes there is an app for that).

Remember when I said chicas are on a DOP economy? The food inflation that was occurring in the middle of the SOE is now starting to subside. My bag of limons are down to 255 a bag. Still more than pre SOE but some relief. On the street eggs were 150-145 DOP /30 count. They are back down to 100-95 DOP /30 count. Just keep that in mind when making financial transactions or negotiations. Everything that come onto this island is paid for in USD. That is basic international commerce. So, the cost of imported goods have gone through the roof.

Getting back to high prices for pussy. If you are not paying high prices. Chances are your girl is using it for basic stuff. Or if she has a regular job then she is most likely supplementing her income. There is a lot of sharing going on right now. Those who have are sharing with those that do not. But that is only at the lower SES level. Starbucks in Downtown Center was rocking. Hotties for days. The rich side. They got the money to look good.

I keep things in perspective and I keep them real. And I look forward to reading "Boots on the ground" reports from others very soon. Hey big titty lover, I hear things are opening up on July 1st. LOL!

I was just sent the attached picture file by a DR woman. Looks like the DR government, by a vote of 21-1, yesterday, extended the "emergency" for another 21 days, which if I recall was until the 1st /2nd of June.

It passed the Senate but it has to pass the House of Deputies next and they have vowed NOT to pass it, they are voting this afternoon.

I found this Info on the Net which says the Dom Rep will be open for Tourists from July.

If this is true I really consider going to Sosua for the first time. I don't care about closed Bars as long as there are Chicas willing to meet. And I think they will be hungry.

I'm interested what Details come out in the next two weeks and if I as a German Citizen will be allowed to enter the Dom Rep without quarantine. If nothing changes I will book. I already found Flights at an acceptable rate.

15 more days of SOE here. Airports are not opening up here before then. Mexico is open. I googled and found that out. They got hot chicas there that speak Spanish and everything. I have been there more than a few times. I like it!
