Yes I've seen the photos and also the ones you've pointed out to me in The Gambia. Where are the waitresses and middle class students? The girls I've seen are the ones most local African guys generally do not want. They may go with them from time to to time in desperation for a lay. But mzungu is what saves these types of girls.

Real African guys like real African girls. There's an art to curves, long legs, light skin, and big asses with commensurate hips. If they speak with class and carry themselves well all th more. Skinny, dark, short, and often uneducated is easy to find in SE Asia and probably cheaper if you factor all travel and accommodation costs in.

Your hard currency is not enough to attract most of the ones I rate 7-8 or above. It just doesn't work most of the time. Your wallet is not enough of a compensating factor for them to want to go out with you. As tourist and muzungu you always overpay. But I figure 20 to 40 k is absolutely ok price. Same as in Kenya. And don't forget Kenya has a higher GDP. But everywhere in Afrika 10 USD is sufficient for ST. LT up to your negotiation skills. but double the price i.e. 20 usd more than sufficient. I never paid more in Mtwapa than 10 usd ST. Sometimes even for LT plus tip 5 usd. 20 usd LT for exceptional service at least 3 shots a night...

- the type of girls most locals take is different from the type of girls most muzungus take, the average short time prices are 20 k.

- all night is tricky, I once wrote about this. It depends on the time of the night you get her. If you want her all night say from 8 pm the prices tend to be higher average is 50 k+ but if you meet her 3 am morning the pricing can go to 30 k or 20 k, because she's made some from short time.

- the muzungu type of girls do not have a huge market for the locals, the taste for most africans is more on big ass.

Add to that figure 50% to 100% Muzungu surcharge. Voila. That's the price. Even for inflation adjusted pricing I would never pay more 50k. And that's for a supermodel. Everything higher is just laying it on thick by the chicas. Learn to negotiate and walk straight away laughing when quoted 100k. And don't forget. Prostitution is prohibited in Tanzania. A chica threatening me with police costs me a mild smile as she'll end up herself in a jail cell.

You are more African in liking to experience very downmarket venues. But my taste is definitely more African than yours as I remember from my trip to the Gambia. I met up with Original Joh the other day, a younger local Tanzanian guy and we went through a bunch of photos plus looked at some of the girls around and about Samaki Samaki. He's definitely on my page when it comes to curves and faces and he acknowledges that my taste is quite in line with the bulk of Tanzanian guys. I think he also gets my preferences for lighter skin tones ala Tanzania, Ethiopia, and especially Morocco.

What locals like him and counterparts in many other parts of the developing world realize is that white Anglo and European men tend to like women who are smaller in stature, skinnier, sometimes with bigger breasts but on small frames, darker color, and even of lower educational level to make them easier to get. When you see local dudes with such girls at the down-and-dirty clubs, it's probably because they can't afford the more desirable girls or are of lower status themselves. So white guys like us serve a dual purpose in Africa. We inject money into the tourist economy and take out the girls who are least desired by local guys LOL.
