A bit of perspective. The last numbers I saw the Thais had repatriated about 46,000 citizens of which only around 0. 5% had tested positive. Only returnees with symptoms are tested on arrival. Most are tested in quarantine about 3 days after arrival so that if they have been exposed there has been time for the virus to incubate. A lot of these positives are from people who display no symptoms. The time lag between exposure to the virus and it incubating to a detectable level can sometimes be quite long. Hence the 14 days quarantine.

I just get so confused with all the data that is put out there from country to country. I honestly think the only numbers that count are the hospitalizations, rate of hospitalizations, and deaths. Thailand has very few of these. Maybe because something "lucky" is here. Maybe its me and this light that I carry with me. Oh well, let me keep enjoying my piece of paradise. 555.

Thailand and Vietnam cases are all imported as they say. I wonder if the airplane trip itself triggers anything to have these people returning all testing positive and symptomatic? Why would they be allowed to exit a country and board an airplane with others if they were sick? And after they land, somehow test positive on arrival. Countries blaming each other. Even I'm getting quite confused about this virus. Must be the end of the world.

He was fine when he left us! Thailand's health ministry insists British 'drug dealer' who collapsed in HMP Bullingdon 'with coronavirus' was definitely 'fit to travel' when he was transferred to the UK from a Thai jail.

Mark Rumble, 31, was extradited back to the UK from Thailand on January 27.

He reportedly collapsed in his cell at HMP Bullingdon, near Bicester on Monday.

Rumble was reportedly sent back to the UK to face class A drug supply charges.

He and two other prison inmates are now being tested for the killer coronavirus.

When you are in the profession of fucking guys or girls after just knowing them 15-30 minutes, you develop a skill to weed out the crazies. True or false? The risk is just not worth the money. Same with guys who pay for sex. In my earlier mongering days, I could not peep out head cases when it came to girls, therefore there was a few drama cases with instances of the crazy hooker. I got better over time. Those minutes spent with a new girl when buying a drink is like an interview. If you fail it, more than likely it's pointless to keep trying. Let's say you call down a girl and buy her a drink. Up close and personal, she is not what you expect or you see flaws or maybe she seems like a loose cannon. After that drink, you don't buy more. She keeps coming back every time she sees you because the message is not clear. Those are the ones who I avoid. So I have no idea why the girl he liked turned him down. She was upper talent, so her people reading skills and intuition are probably very good. Better way of saying this is "there are creepy ass mf (s) up in a club. " Don't ever get the label or jacket placed on you by the girls. They will talk and your reputation will supersede you every time you enter the club. I asked what they prayed for? She said for the Asian tourists to come back. The expat group here just ain't cutting it. My own bill was 1000 baht in drinks, but gave 1 to her and 1 to my waitress. Banana Boi can probably tell you more than me, but Go Go bar girls in Pattaya have a mind of their own to why or why not they do things. The best way for me to explain this is to use empathy. Pretend you walk into a Go Go bar and you have a set of standards for girls you are willing to spend money on and fuck. You know your own worth and limits to what they look like and what you are willing to accept. So you are able to fuck this "class" of girls within your range. One day you walk into the same bar and all those girls that are in your range are gone. Do you then start wanting to fuck the nastier or more gross looking ones just because your standard girls are gone? Probably not. What if it's for free? What if I paid you? For me probably not as well. That's what I mean if they gave you the fuck off look before, they will still give you the fuck off look now. So guys who think that it's easy pickings for them to get top talent just because of COVID, have another think coming.

You are absolutely right, and many other painters have represented epidemic plagues like Michel Serre or Jerome Bosch (himself dead from the black plague) in "the last judgment". Europe has, at all times, been ravaged by pandemics which have caused hundreds of millions of deaths such as plagues, cholera, flu or even syphillis. It seems we have forgotten about it now. But contagious diseases don't forget us.

And yes, enjoy life as much as we can. I still hope that I will be able to return to Pattaya before the end of the world, at least before the last judgment because I suppose that we have more fun in Hell than in Paradise.
