Try to take "good fingerprints" at immigration. Officials there don't care about that but later when getting a sim you'll get read again and those have to match. Even the sim sellers on the streets have fingerprint readers. I wasted 3 hours trying to get one in my name.

If there's no match, you'll need a local (driver, fixer etc) to get a sim for you.

And you really need a local sim, don't depend on WiFis unless you are on very short trip.
Thanks for the hint -- I just googled Vodaphone and found this:

    SIM Card Registrations for individual.

Visit Vodacom shop or registration agents with your National ID number or passport for foreigner with no National ID.

SIM registration agent will capture your National Identification Number or passport and scan your finger print.

You will receive notification when number is updated with biometric registration.

Its a very special way to register. But then, 2 GB data for a week is just about 1,50 EU.

Based on my limited travels (this trip to Mada, Kampala, Dar, and Lusaka) it seems the best looking girls on average are in Dar. I think that's due to the significant mixing with Arab traders in past centuries which has lead to lighter skin tones and more interesting facial features. Mada seems to have a lot of good looking girls too but most are of Imerina tribe (26% of population) which seem in general to be much less in the game. I don't agree with another monger's comments that these would look plain in Philippines. The top shelf Merinas would also look quite attractive in Metro Manila which has some of best looking and highest class girls in Philippines.

I'm sure Ethiopia may be even better for looks. But unlike Dar, English is really not a very functional language in Addis. Many younger and more educated Tanzanians speak pretty decent English these days which is important for someone like me.

The other country I'm curious about is Rwanda. Perhaps girls there also look better than in Kampala and Lusaka? As for Kenaya, it's been over a decade since I last visited so I need to return. As I recall, most of the lookers are in Nairobi (an unpleasant, rather dangerous, and overpriced city) while Mombassa area is a mecca for substandard over shagged single mums. Correct me if I am wrong on these impressions.

BTW: is it easy to get a local Sim card on arrival at the airport? Or does the airport have a free WiFi reception (to order Uber).

2 minute arrival time Monday evening little after 17:00.

At this time ride to Slipway took roughly 50 minutes, downtown traffic slows you down.

    July 2020.
There is a fast food joint right next to the road by Terminal 2 you can wait in. My Uber ride in a few weeks ago to Village Supermarket Masaki was 21,000 in spite of traffic. The vultures around the airport wouldn't go below 30 K even when I offered 20 K. By the time they finally relented, I told them sorry pal, too late, my driver is en-route. Took 15 minutes for my driver to arrive so I enjoyed some french fries while waiting. Next time, I'll only offer those clowns outside 15 K and see how they like that LOL.

The life has gotten back to normal. In Bars the normal schedules are in place. Mondays to Wednesdays most places go till midnight. Thursdays to Sundays you easily find all night open.

    Perhaps.

But I did search Tinder as the most pro dating site as well the different escort sites from Tanzania: nowhere any Chinese did offer her services.

Yes, they may be found in some Chinese kongsi as few exotic offers. But the country is not a typical playground for them. And even less for Thai and Philippinas. My initial point.

Any prove to believe by photos please. Otherwise lets just enjoy local fruits. They are juicy and ample available.
