I was just there on Tuesday and needed some extra cash in the morning.

I used the ATM and instantly turned the card off and requested a replacement. Didn't feel like dealing with the headache.

This evening, went to tropical 1st. There was some 8, maybe 9 if I saw them naked. I just can't get motivated to pay for sex unless a girl starts fooling around with me, for free, pre covid. I bought 1 drjnk for not the hottest but seemed fun, she asked me 6 times to buy her drugs. Next. I will say, tropical, to me, is better in some ways than pre covid. Got through the 1st woman in uniform but the grunge worker in mechanic uniform recognized me even with face mask. No more otay, if I'm gona pay 20 bucks I don't need a crowded bus for 30 minutes from otay to Hong Kong. I'll just go to San Ysidro and pay the dam 20 bucks once a week.

This was a three part report, and my most recent Monterrey report that ties into this, I explain how I shot myself in the foot. Oops. Had a 6 month pass with still 10 days remaining, only needed 4. Upon Bus entry into Nuevo Laredo, all foreigners apply for a land entry permit. What I didn't know is it costs $0. 00. What my dumb self did was flaunt my exisiting permit saying "no need officer" but they swiped it and replaced it. If I had said nothing, I could've had 2 permits, given TIJ arrivals staff 1 and no $ damage. Oh well, hindsight 20/20 in 2020.

Again if I had done more research, landing at TIJ, instead of Uber direct to hotel, should have taken an Uber to border aduana, give a faux bus ride story and get a new 7 day permit for $0. 00, get a new Uber onward to hotel and voila.

I accidentally stumbled onto airfare to Central / South America being crazy bargained vs USA a little over a year ago. Wrote a trip report on flights to Buenos Aries EZE out of DFW, IAH, AUS or SAT would run $1400-1500 ouch. That same time frame, catch a bus to Monterrey to fly MTY-EZE, it was $645 total. Any readers thinking of infiltrating Latin America via Mexico by flying out of TIJ / MEX / GDL / MTY? You are responsible to have a permit in hand when you report to origin Mexican Airport departures hall. Apply for permit at a land entry, that will save headaches. For international roundtrips flying in and out of Mexico, the return flight back to Mexico, the permit fee (about $25 usd) is already included in the fare when you booked the flight. (it adds this fee automatically on the booking screen the instant you blurt "I'm not a Mexican". You will be issued the permit in the returning plane's cabin.

I went in Chicago 2 weeks ago day time weekend and did not find any girl hot enough to spend time with, left alone paying $30 for their drab rooms.

Landed in TIJ from MTY around 6 pm, Central time zone 8 pm for me. Upon exiting the airport, got bamboozled by airport agent collecting my permit on arrival. Damnit this is a stopover, I'm not leaving Mex!

Hindsight what I should've done but didn't: Take Uber to nearest land aduana and apply for a new 7 day permit.

Ordered Uber at arrivals area, first 2 drivers asked and canceled on me deciding trip was too short for their time. Third driver showed up, took me to Hotel Pacific for staging purposes, $22 for the night. Got freshened up, made a fuss on ISG about permit snafu, got another Uber and arrived in Zona Norte around 8:30 pm. Took a few laps around the blocks seeing available street prospects. Tried to peek inside Hong Kong, but staff said weeknights during Covid, clubs close at 9 pm, action shifts to attached hotels. Peeked inside one. Scoped out one girl, got quote of $80, looked around some more and left.

First session was a decent looking half-asian looking street girl. On entry, staff had me scan for temperature and wipe with hand sanitizer. Round was 500 p, the usual BJ, nude, couple of positions, finished her off. Upon exit, got hassled for the uncomfortable feel only in Tijuana: staff cleanup tip. I forgot to pack singles, just pretended I didn't speak English or Spanish, and the dude gave me a death stare. Oh well.

And from here on out would be the most chaotic airport experience I've been through, ever, and I've been to all six continents within last 24 months including Asia and Cairo and Budapest. A gringo spotting Migracion officer hassled me to obtain a permit and I gave her hell, but (see above) ended up having to buy a permit I shouldn't have had to buy (may come in handy over next 6 months we'll see) and my heart skipped a beat when my flight was at 9:15 am, and it's 7:55 am and the security line to the terminal is wrapping around the building. It was down to the wire, and I swear what few screens in first hallway said go to Gate 5, so after XRays, I jog to Gate 5 on the right tip end of a horseshoe formation, get there and either read screen wrong or they flat out lied, VivaBus to CDMX was now at Gate 9 on the midway to left horseshoe. Conveniently PA announced final boarding call for my flight, I ran until I flat out ran out of oxygen.

The next time I fly in or out of TIJ will be too soon.

I had the same problem flying out of mexico to Colombia. I missed my flight because of the immigration visa.

Combination, was exhausted, slept maybe 2 hours night before due to homeless drug addicts who now live on San Diego hotels, it was already 6 pm, had to go to bed by 10 pm to get back to border by 4 am to get to San Diego by 8 am, already had taken the dam bus all the way to otay, to avoid paying the $20, it was 50/50 I was going to bang any girls most likely just drink, tired of the $$ grabs by mexico. They should be letting everyone in, imagine Manhattan NYC, doesn't let anyone in without papers? The economic loss? Tijuana night life was double before the passport laws, they still let people in cars in, they probably would let most girl gringos in, they look at me as a "john" always insinuating I'm going to Hong Kong, even asking me if I'm going to Hong Kong, this after I contribute 70% of my monthly salary to mexico. I guess at some point, I feel like enough's enough were is the gratitude. They even told me I'm rich. I share a bathroom with 4 people in San Diego. I'm poor LOL.
