I'm a foreigner and can't speak much Chinese. Hoping WeChat translate can get the job done, but translation (both ways) isn't always good.

I've had success with the "Dear Translate" app (the one with a parrot icon), which is a free app with text, voice and camera translation. It shows a full screen ad for three seconds when it starts up, but since the app is primarily for Chinese, the ads are in Chinese, so with my almost non-existent reading proficiency, the ad impression is wasted on me.

I am not in Shanghai but those websites look good and also have lots of information for my city, particularly with the additional report information. Many thanks! I will try them out and report back.

Is the standard set up 1 pop / 1 HR? How is the prevalence of kissing and OWO in this setting? Would any of them speak English? (I'm not looking for a conversation on politics, just simply being able to say 'have a shower please' or 'would you like a water?' would make the encounter a lot smoother).

I'm actually Chinese, so the experience might be different. The vast majority of the girls are FL so who they see is up to them.

Super advice We went to both places (basically followed the band) Judith's had more options and the spot was quiet. Band was fab, the lady singer was a little cutie which was a bonus.

Go there again tonight.

Well yes, a little confusing.

During winter / spring Judith and The Spot made a kind of a swap.

Judith is now situated at Nanjing Rd /#152 Tongren Rd. It is right on the corner of those to streets. It is now called Judith's Spot.

The Spot is now at 2nd Floor #329 TongrenRd / Nan Yang Rd. Now it is called TheSpot Grill. It is situated where "the old" Judith's was.

Both places have live music and food on the menu. I would say that for mongering activity, Judith's Spot is the best place to go. But you could try both. They are within 5 minutes walking distance.

And to the first question, yes both of them are indeed open at present time.

I looked up Judy's on smart shanghai and trip advisor both said Judy was closed.

But at Leviton6 and at TaiyuanGuy both have mentioned Judy's is open. Sorry I got confused.

Is Judys still near Tongren Road.

Wondering for this weekend.

Hi dude,

I'm outside Shanghai. My old job was in Beijing and I'm sad to leave the city behind. I was hoping to find the equivalent of Kitty or Angel in Shanghai but disappointed if there are no equivalent. I did some research on Judys, looks crazy. I hear Manhattan is more dangerous? I've not read this thread, I'll read before fly out. Thanks for advise. I hope to do a hotel recon first to check lift visibility from reception. Will be in touch!

I've had a blast at Judys and Manhattan. Manhattan girls seem more picky and expensive but generally are hotter looking. Either way if both clubs are 80% of how it was a year ago, it's still a good time. The band at Judys is pretty good.
