Just feels like, as crazy as it sounds, the demand side is fairly high. I'd also add prices have not plummeted. I would have assumed, with the added supply, prices drop. But I don't think that's occurred.

Rizo's doors were open. But there's no party. Two guys at the door making sure you had a room or reservation. Same with Cascadas front door. Jalos now has some barkers where the Chicago barkers normally stand. They said they had girls up there but I did not verify.

Posts: 6First time, long time. After months of not returning to Tijuana, I finally built up the courage to go for a short trip. I live in the SD area, drove to the border and parked in a paid lot per usual. I went during the week, but traffic wasn't bad and plenty of parking. Walked across, line was short to get in. They asked how long I'll be visiting, usual stuff. Uber driver's over there all wear masks and seem to be following guidelines. Didn't go to the ZN, just downtown. Most restaurants were open with outdoor seating and social distancing. Not much different other than bars being closed. Crossing back was just as easy. No line, asked what my nature of my visit; said Dentist appointment. They let me go right ahead. If anyone's having any doubts about the logistics of visiting Tijuana, it seems like its business as usual, at least when crossing on foot.
P.S. Exchange rate is pretty good, its a shade over 20:1.

Oh, and good luck finding anyplace you'd actually want to live in Playas for $300. Double that and you'll be closer to reality, at least for something small. Budget $1,000 and you can probably get something decent.

The ChiComs love to eat exotic animals. That means animals that are not indigenous to the area. In CA, for instance. Alligator would be an exotic animal, although in Florida not so much. We already know that SARS has its genesis in bats. Covid is a "novel" strain of SARS.
Exotic animal "distributors" in China beat the bushes and capture animals. They then pack them into tight, unhealthy, cages and so forth, and then sell them to other areas of China. Unfortunately this puts species which would normally never encounter one another into very close proximity. The most likely scenario was the bats gave the virus to the pangolin. Pangolins were available in Wuhan, and were, so I'm told, very popular to eat. The most likely scenario is that infected pangolins, packed into a filthy wet market environment with people, gave the humans the virus. Or, an undercooked pangolin was consumed by somebody in Wuhan. BTW, this is the accepted cause for AIDS. A person in the Congo eating an undercooked, infected chimpanzee / ape / gorilla.
The Smithsonian magazine even published an article back during SARS discussing the wet market "petri dish" and predicting that the next pandemic would come from one.

Fellow members.
Years ago I used to go to Tijuana. Never been to Rosarito. I have an invite from an expat living in Rosarito. I will probably get a room in a Rosarito Hotel for a few days.
My question is how, what and where are the girls around Rosarito? Cost?
Thanks for your help in this.

Posts: 334Heyo Robert. I am thinking into more the same way. Joe Rogan mentioned a doctor who indicated some of the characteristics of the virus is man made but I need to research a bit more.
Is this backlash against Tictoc related to the US knowing possibly it was man made as well? Can't imaging anything TicToc app is doing is anything worse than what Facebook or other apps know about us but the Gov is going a bit aggressive. I am ignorant of most of this stuff but just thinking hypothetically?
