I have a friend there, mid 20's, skinny I know has worked in the game previously as how I met her. Like many there is struggling to survive, under grater stress with her kids education.

Read back 14 pages in this thread and have a couple questions.

Sanur X Houses, I keep seeing the alley mentioned near Circle K? When I look at google maps there are several Circle K's. Where is this actually at? Which Circle K?

The circle k is on danau poso corner of tirtanandi.

I cannot remember the X numbers but there one next to circle k does not look inviting, a long 30 metre walk down a darkish path but it's fine. At the bottom two fish bowls, the farthest one seemed best.

If you sit in the Dutch bar (corner of further sekar waru) along the road you will see the girls going by on the back off mopeds, all dressed in black.

I think there is an X house 3 houses down from the Dutch bar on sekar waru.

From circle k head back towards sanur centre, on the 2nd road on the left is 11 X you normally get whistled at walking by. If you turn left go to the end of the road (5 minutes walk) 99 X is on the right. There's also a couple of massage shops offering FS down here.

If you rent a moped and drive from across the bypass after turning right after circle k and just drive around you will see numerous X houses dotted around. Prices seemed fixed.

There are guys on mopeds outside circle k willing to take you "somewhere" (I've never tried).

Sanur doesn't have hookers although sit outside Casablanca bar in the evening some will come to you but not too quality.

WeChat is great, I picked up numerous freebies but I was living there and also Badoo.

Bali is not hardcore like Thailand, phils, Jakarta but it good for mixing the vacation with sightseeing.

This was all pre covid.

Is there any negotiation of services in these places (like a MP where you have to negotiate upgrades), or are these just brothels where 300 k or so is the full service price (no BS pricing)?

Thanks, I understand these aren't the type of places for everybody. I used to do 4, 6 weeks trips to Pattaya a year. Now I usually do 2 weeks just checking out somewhere new then a month in Pattaya (unless I go to Medellin). Thought this might be something different than AC or PP again.

And yes, I understand the world is still in lockdown. Just planning for when we can travel again.

You mean the nasty Kerobokan Prison on Jl Gn. Tangkuban Perahu? I am interested in that place also owned by Fame's owners. When in Bali, I always live in Batu Belig close to that area so going there will be the closest for me. Thanks.

The same people that own Fame have the one in Kerobokan near the gaol, never negotiated there on my one visit.

Thanks Pedro. I consider myself a Bali veteran (been visiting since 2009) but I didn't know to negotiate. It just goes to show that one can learn something new everyday. No, I am not currently in Bali. I am stuck in the good o'LE USA wishing I am ANYWHERE but the USA.

I wonder if Riverview is negotiable too? Also, if getting a discount, will the quality of service be affected?

Only been to Riverview a couple times not sure you can negotiate there but if you were ever able to it would be now.

The same people that own Fame have the one in Kerobokan near the gaol, never negotiated there on my one visit.

I have at Maharani and the one just around the corner on Sunset Rd as well as the one off Dew Sri with the 8 ball out the front.

Not that I am a cheapskate but I don't bother with the build up, nipple sucking, like to get straight down to action being old, usually out of there within the half hour.

I usually inform the mamasan I will be out in 30.

Here's a tip for you guys who love beef, especially Aussies & Yanks. Mongers have to eat too. The name of the restaurant is Brazilian Aussie BBQ, It is an all-you-can-eat Brazilian Churrascaria where they bring the different cuts of meat to your table. The beef is from Australia. They also have a great salad and soup bar. The cost is US $13 for regular and US $18 for prime meats. You can't get that price anywhere in the world.

Their address is Jl Beraban #12 in Legian. Their hours are 16:00-23:00. I go there two times (as soon as I arrive and just before I leave) on every trip since 2017 (I think). I was just there in January. They have another branch in Kuta near Poppies I but I have not been to that one.

Most businesses add on Tax and Service charged in Bali.

Suggest if you are in Bali now and attend Flame you will negotiate a good price regardless.

I am not a reg but have been there a few times, negotiated 650 down from 800 in times that we no where near as quite and desperate than they will be now I am certain.

Bali is reporting they will open their borders around mid September.

The bigger issue maybe where you are coming from as indications for me (Australia) will not be allowed oversees departures for many months yet, possibly 2021.

I would love to be there now the pickings will be low as many have gone home to their family and villages.

I'll be here all of August, and spend most of my time in Indonesia anyway (although in a different region usually). Staying in Legian at the moment, and nearly everything is shut (not unexpected, but I like to play street roulette with ladies offering massages. Not really an option at the moment). Did drop by Flame in Seminyak the night I got here, usual transaction. Nothing out of the ordinary (the lady I had been seeing there the last 18 months whenever I was travelling through town doesn't seem be around anymore. Tika), although 10% off the usual prices at the moment.

If anyone has any leads on services still operating, or massage plus places other than Flame to give a go, let me know.

Not super worried about security / crime, but appreciate the advice regardless as it is something I sometimes take for granted. I take the usual precautions but I'm fairly intimidating from a height / build perspective. So never had any issues (here or any other Asian countries. I have a bad habit of wandering around dodgy parts of random cities without realizing haha). I'm super easy-going and friendly, just have resting-angry-face I guess?
