You can get two weeks of insurance and I was quoted $23 when I put in my information.
You will be lucky to get that malady really covered at $23 per day at present, but you won't. We are all sensible men.

The stated purpose of this forum is to exchange information for the purpose of having sex with women.

If you can't get there or be safe while there, little else matters.

I know how tab A into slot be works and don't need blow by blow descriptions. What is helpful is I am on the ground and this is what I see or experienced. In the case of travel health insurance, this is what I purchased or my research suggested.

The point about Rio not being as it was is not just a post about lamenting the closing of Help, but a legitimate question worthy of discussion, especially at this time. I like Sperto and greatly appreciate his contributions because he has helped me make educated decisions about other options in Brazil.

A big thank you goes out to those who are taking the time to share their firsthand on the ground experiences as others are trying to decide whether the risk is worth the ever changing reward.

Apparently except for Thailand the countries that depend on tourism are open for travelers.

    Discoveries

Before, I rented a room from the guys at America Tours (now closed), spent a lot of the daytime at 4 x4 and Luomo (both closed) hung out on the beach at Posto 6 (Hooker section), at at Meia Pataca (closed) and pregamed at the patio restaurant outside of help (closed), and spent late nights at Help (closed).

I just don't know what to get excited about in going back. I felt like a Rio pro and now everything has changed so much and none of the places I went to even exist anymore. Back then, I also knew personally most of the must have girls and obviously they left the game long ago. I miss so much of the good old times, and much of what I learned about mongering was because of my trips to Rio. I even remember my first trip to medellin, and feeling like it was a mistake and a waste of time because I loved Rio so much! I read trip sports and just dont see the excitement that we as a group had from back in the day.

I'm really thinking long and hard about all of this. Decisions, decisions.

You can't go back to Rio hoping and expecting to re-live the past. It's gone. Either look to play the game differently there, or consider trying a new destination in Brazil. I still have gone to Rio, but I started going to Sao Paulo too. Even took a trip down to Porto Alegre. So glad I did! When things open up and are safe again, I plan to see other parts of Brazil as well. So, consider expanding your horizons to discover other parts of Brazil besides Rio de Janeiro.

For a first trip, does Colombia vs Brazil have any major advantages over the other? Through some research, prices look about the same. One thing I really like about Brazil are the "termas", I don't think Colombia has an equivalent where you can go to a sauna and relax like a FKK club in Germany and monger at the same time. Thanks for any info.
Do you have experience with Rio's termas? They're a lot of fun. I like hanging out before and after the deed. They, however, are very different from FKKs. The facilities and food in termas are very basic. I wouldn't recommend booking a masseur / masseuse in a termas.

I do have it through Uncle Sam.

I may have had Covid several times, but its a cough and it passes. Memento mori.

I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees; or to paraphrase, I'd rather get laid 200 more times in Brazil than sit in involuntary incarceration in the states.
