Posts: 242@Sorbonne: If you leave Ukraine now, after having been here for 90+ days on a tourist visa, you will almost certainly not be allowed back until 90 days has passed. Regardless of what any border guard says. So be absolutely sure Poland will let you in. Otherwise, you may be stuck in the airport indefinitely until you can buy a ticket to a country that will accept you, such as Turkey, Serbia, North Macedonia currently. Or a ticket back to the USA.

But it was the US Embassy website where I read that I should contact the local immigration office. You know the reality more than they do!
I'm starting to wonder if there is any visa I can apply for that gives me right to stay here for several months. This is because, say, if I want to go to Poland for 3 months and leave Ukraine but am unexpectedly denied entry, I want to come back to Ukraine immediately, but I'm afraid Ukraine won't let me in, resulting in having to go back to the US!
Maybe when I fly out of Kiev, I should ask at the Passport Control if I can come back in case of denied entry, or even make a deal. This may be easier at land borders.

It is always best to be prepared for the worst, which in the case of overstaying the 90 days, can be a fine of up to 5,100 grivna or about $185. And the fine can also be less depending on the mood of the officer. It can also be paid on the spot by credit card!

This one does not specifically say that you must have been here when the quarantine started on March 16.
But in any case I have been in contact with the local immigration office that tells me I have 30 days to leave after the quarantine ends.

And the quarantine has been extended month after month since March with no end in sight, so this is my situation.
But if I want to leave, I can do so anytime. But once I leave, I can only come back after 90 days, if the border is open.

Posts: 242If there is a quarantine, you can just stay until the quarantine is over, regardless of what official rules say. Just shrug your shoulders and say all flights out were cancelled so you were stuck in Ukraine. At worst, border control charges $35 (1000 uah) or similar fine for overstaying your visa, then says you can't return to Ukraine until 90 days has passed. I overstayed in Spain this spring and no one said anything on exit.
Personally, I'm delighted to be "stuck" in Kyiv with my sugar baby. No where else I'd rather be right now.

The scene of the crime is 4 metro stations away from downtown, not that far at all. Actually close to Ocean Plaza Shopping Mall. Very cheap soviet apartment. It is sort of on the way to KBP, but barely 5-10% out of the city center, still ways to go to the airport. He didn't appear to have a good getaway plan.
For this sort of crime he will not be treated well in jail at all.
And this is not once a decade misfortune. These things happen. This is why upon entering apartment girls assess the environment and check in with their phone dispatcher. Then closer to the end of engagement they get a call again. This is both for logistics and security. Routing the girl to the next customer and taking care of her safety.
Girls from GIA told me in 2016 how they were running away from armed defenders of the Motherland through the bushes outside of Kiev.
This is also another reason why regular customers are valuable.
Poor soul! She was somebody's daughter, and somebody's mother herself.

With the nightclubs and discos now closed, it also means any strip clubs which may have been open are likely also closed.
It also seems that the very many ladies who had been awaiting an uptick in business for the autumn are now once again facing major financial losses, at least for September. It may be great for those of us still here so there may be a silver lining for you, after all if you cannot leave.

But the bigger issue for me is that if Ukraine is doing this, does it mean many other countries in Europe are also doing this? The Schengen Area might close the external border completely again. As of now I think the Polish border is open for the Ukrainians and those who have residence permit in Poland.
