Sounds like some of you are visiting Rio as a group.

If you do plan on drinking, one good option is a termas. Suggest you designate one guy as a non or light drinker. Also, have your exit planned. Are you going to take a cab or Uber? One thing I have seen time and time again is guys walking the streets acting like they own the place. You are being told by people who really know what they are talking about to keep low key, especially when visiting the private apartments. As for non-pros and freebies with pros the guys whom I have seen achieve the greatest success either have drugs or are easy going. Birthdays are important to Brazilians and I have gotten invited to a lot of parties because I would not embarrass my host. This does not mean you are a wimp when you are alone with the girl, it just means not being a jerk, especially a drunken one.

Over the years I have seen a lot of drunk gringos visit the private apartments in groups, making fools of themselves, causing a scene and issues for the establishments. Similar issues in rental apartments. Prostitution is legal in Brazil and tolerated most places. Being a drunken ass is not.

With Covid and not many tourists around, try to be extra careful of surroundings.

Is the brothels hit and miss? Sounds interesting entering a apt. Doing some window shopping and if nothing catches your eye try a different spot.

I am really looking forward to my 1st trip to RIO. Not sure if it can compare to Thailand. But I'm keeping an open mind.

Brothels? Apartments? I think I know what you are asking. I'd say a termas was a brothel. I'm guessing by apartment you mean a prive.

A prive is small. Maybe a handful of girls are available at one time. Typically, prives are offices in a regular, working office building. That's why members tell newbies to act discreetly when entering the building and the elevator. Make sure you have the exact office and knock only on that door. Don't go around the building asking the people where is the prive or where are the girls.

Maybe some prive regulars here can tell you if going to a prive with four guys is a good plan. It's not a social thing like a termas or a bar / club. You also likely won't find four girls you want in one place. So maybe two guys go prive shopping. Of course, some buildings have a couple prives, but you still have to split up.

Now termas are great for a group outing. There's more girls, cocktails, music and some of girls will do a little dance. They are also more expensive. Solarium and possibly Monte Carlo will have hotter women than prives, but it only takes one prive girl to spark your interest if you are lucky. You guys are young. You can hit prives by day and termas in the evening.

Which leads me to Copacabana Beach. If any of you have any game (doesn't have to be major game), strike up conversations with young girls on the beach. Many of the girls will politely dismiss advances. Some of the girls might be interested. Some might be semi-pros looking for some fun and some extra cash.

......First day I went to solarium and Monte Carlo still not many gringos in town and the girls are anxiously waiting for September to arrive for things to pick up. Because of exchange rates not usd $110 is not bad so already been to solarium twice this week.

Next day I went to Centro and T65 and New York (Cancun). T65 staff and girls essential ex 4 x4. Pricing is best deal in terms of Tier 1 termas. Approx. $60 usd for a program. Attached below. Opens at 2 pm but that is just the bar area and then the main boate with loud music opens at 5 pm. I believe you can wear robe and street clothes in both areas. Talent was great after 5 pm but again clients were not many. Great time to be in Rio! Get ready to be bombarded for tips as I mentioned there are 4 x4 staff that migrated over and they were known for this practice with gringos.

New York / Cancun pricing still a great deal and not much is changed.

Good decision going to Rio. Its far superior to Thailand! Flat chests and no ass. The exact opposite in rio / Brazil!

Arena is bang in the middle of Copa, closer to leme so a great spot.

Yes there are plenty of love motels, usually pay for an hour or so and they are not expensive. Usually what would happen is you would pick up a girl outside Mabs (near Arena hotel) and they would bring you to a motel which would be very close to Mabs, price maybe 20 dollars or less I think. Usually the standard at Mabs wasn't great but who knows as its not exactly a normal time now.

Dolce Vita is a club on copa where are the freelancers go so you should hit there. And bring a girl from there to a motel or your hotel if you want.

I'm not sure what the thermas scene is like now but my favourite was Monte Carlo in Copa. Usually the hottest women in the thermas. Centaurus was expensive for Brazil but used to have the best women but I heard this has changed. Ask for the girls numbers / whatsapp and you can meet them for lunch / dinner another day.

Solarium is another great thermas which is worth getting an uber out to. So visit Monte Carlo. Solarium and Centaurus thermas..
