I've been in this game and on these forums a LONG time and I never heard of SLT either.

OK. I thought I learned it from here. Then it was from an other forum.

SLT means Super Long Time = over a few days.

In a couple of instances he invited a chick over and they agreed on or he had sent a price before the chick came (in writing.) When the chick arrived or after services were performed they changed the price on him. And in neither case did the price change to his favor, but it changed to the females' favor. Yeah. Maybe what this guy is doing is not right. Has nothing to do with the chicks.

The thing is that over the years I have read his reports in the Thailand and Philippines threads. Never any kind of problems. He just shows up in Sosua and shit is falling apart because of something he is doing? Yeah, okay.

I think I'm kind of the same. While it's nice to have un mil Chicas on my team; I rarely give it. Even if we agreed on it in the pass. The current exchange rate is showing love to the American dollar. I show little love back. Now, If I am negotiation I may start off with 1500 pesos instead of 1000. I was thinking of going to Sosua for 1-2 weeks to decompress (diving + mongering) as it's been a couple of hard months. It would be my first time in DR and reading this forum, I get the feeling that it might not be a good idea to start there. Am I wrong?

Any suggestion on where to start a DR vacation with both diving and mongering available?

There are a lot of hardcore girls on the street if you are not clear about what you are paying look out. The girls consider what they do their job. You are their client. Striking a fair price is serious business for both of you. The curfew make things harder. You never keep a girl all night unless you test ride her. It sucks having a girl all night who you have no connection with. As long as the the curfew is on guys have to be on point.

Hi all,

I've been looking at a place to stay for 1-2 week to do diving, relax and monger. Sadly, I'll be traveling alone as my friends are all still working and can't take any time right now. It's been a pretty hectic few months.

I was thinking of going to Sosua because the dives sound beginner friendly and read this thread to learn about the non-diving part. I get the feeling that Sosua is not recommended if you don't know your way around (and I've never been to DR or the region).

Is that the case and if yes, any recommendations?

You got to avoid getting into these situations. It's not necessary. They can elevate to the drama where everybody gets into the act, even security, the police, and the bystanstanders, tut tutting and cluck clucking about your misadventures. We see it far too often.

Your trouble starts at "she shows up half hour before curfew and demands $150". That just doesn'why happen out of the blue.

Like complaining about a taxi or moto fare once you are at your destination, a large tab run up in a clip joint, or a hoe in your room who says you owe her more, or the guy who meets a strange chicas girl's family in a restaurant, or the guy who leaves his shit on the dresser with a stange hoe he just pick up off the street, while he's taking a crap, or in the shower. It will not end well.

You'll only get sympathy from the usual suspects who roll like you, and believe me, they are not the majority in Sosua (oustide this Sosua "complaint desk" forum, that is, LOL).

But if why'all continue to blame the "barracudas", and not adjust your own behaviour, you are destined to join the chronic complainers, terminally disappointed, and give.

My advice to you below, was to offer her 2500 plus a propina for good service, which puts YOU in control, and let the hoe be left to take it or leave it!

My advice to you is not to dwell in the sympathy vote here from fellow losers here, the aforementioned tut tutters, and cluck cluckers, but to take some constructive advice from posters who have learned how to roll happily and successfully in Sosua. The real "next level" the vets talk about, begins with looking in the mirror.

That is why you get the price nailed before they post. Once they are in your room with price in air you could be negotiating with the police. They can pick any number out of the air. There are some bad girls out there who will slam dunk you if you are off your game. Sosua is still workable but you have to be on top of your game.
