At least your loss was only 45 $ and nothing else. There are far worse traps in Budapest to fall in, which may end up in losing much more money, and perhaps even more than just money.

However, "talking down" a girl's rate is not something I would recommend to a foreign monger in Budapest in general, Although I have read a few reports on forums about the "Look, I have x HUF for this stuff now, deal or no deal?" method working, but even they suggest that you should "feel it during the talk". In my view, bargaining should be avoided in general, and especially not in this measure. It's not easy to imagine a girl who initially said 70 and yet would provide a good service for 45. She may accept it, but it will hit back in the level of service.

On the other hand, there are many great incall providers in the price range of 50-60 euro (in some cases the range may go down to 40 and up to 70), and 3 of my last 4 great experiences applied such rates, between 18 and 22 k HUF (which equals to 50-60 euro). It is also important to notice that within that range girls should be evaluated individually, because a 50 euro girl can be better or worse than a 70 euro girl, the rate itself won't tell that. But referring back to our initial topic: I'm always talking about the price the girls is asking originally, without bargaining.

It is absolutely irrelevant how will you pronounce rosszlanyok if you do not speak Hungarian language. Even if you learn to pronounce it perfectly it will not help you when you call a girl who speaks Hungarian only. Everyone here knew that you were talking about rosszlanyok although you spelled it Rozylansky. The key thing / most important thing was that you got scammed by one of those ordinary girls from that site. Some members here write posts just for the sake of writing them. I am contemplating visiting Budapest when the Europe opens up more. Is Budapest worth visiting. Or are most of girls a bunch of scammers. A few years back there constant reports of guys getting ripped off.

It is obvious, that if you prefer (or simply are used to) the calculability and standard service and infrastructure of FKKs or other standardized sex market institutions, you won't find them in Budapest. On the other hand, if I only look back at my 2020 track record, I've had mostly great experiences, and in general at rates that would be hard to find anywhere else in Europe or other more or less developed country for the same levels of service. (Yes, I still owe the thread a few concrete recommendations, and they will certainly come soon) Note: the degree of comparative price advantage may and does vary by category and type of service.

However, if you are an absolute beginner in Budapest and arrive here only for a couple of days, you should have difficulties in finding the right offers among the great number of (at first sight) similarly looking ads and other information sources. Perhaps it would be interesting and helpful if I explain the meaning of those letters put one after the other in this order. So literally "rossz" means bad and "lanyok" means girls (so "rossz lanyok" means bad girls), while if we omit the space and write it in one word as "rosszlanyok", that is a colloquial expression for sexworkers.

And about the pronounciaton: that of "rossz" is easy to catch for English speakers, as it is rather like "gross" without the g. Let me put it this way, if you expect FKK's like in Germany than forget it. Budapest is all about hard work. Are there girls who are scammers, especially towards foreigners? The answer is yes. However to say all ordinary girls in Budapest are scammers is simply not true. Even I as a Hungarian, a local who is an expert for Budapest mongering scene had to learn & gradually move up in this game. There are many traps & unwritten rules when it comes to Budapest mongering scene. It takes time, years, to master them. If you are a total rookie, if it is your first visit to the city, if you will stay a day or 2 & you expect things to go smoothly, than get ready to be disappointed. If your target are ordinary girls than get ready to make many phone calls, expect that many girls will hang up on you the moment they hear English language, expect that you might get stood up in both outcall or incall, be ready to taste a bait-and-switch situations, expect that some girls will try to overcharge you just because you are foreigner. However, it is not all gloom & doom. There are girls who will charge you normal prices & will provide good attitude / service. But, even than it will take you lots of calling / time to organize the meeting with a girl. Be aware of gypsies. They are notoriois for scams, cold attitude, bad service, overcharging. Situation has completely changed in just a 2 months. Official government statiscs shows that there are over 900 new cases in Hungary every day, while in in Serbia there are 70. Very strange. However, it seems that situation in the region is the best in Serbia. The decision of the Slovenian government proves that. As of today, September 28, Serbian citizens can enter Slovenia without any restrictions. I will leave freedom of choice to everyone to think for himselfm. For myself, I am traveling between Belgrade & Budapest & vice versa freely whenever there are reasons, business or private ones.
