Perusing my medical journals this morning.

Been known for quite awhile; regular mouthwash renders c29 inactive.

Now you know why Thai girls always use a Rinse before rendering oral services. LOL.

Where do the African working women congregate?

I have read that there has been a continued crackdown on African working women in BKK. Can boots on the ground confirm? If there are any left, where would one go to find them in BKK?

So the first planes have arrived from China with the select few STV applicants. These are the supposed richest of the rich to bounce the Thai economy back to normal. Am I the only one who finds it ironic they flew in on a BUDGET China airline? I know my rich friends would never fly on budget airlines. So are these STV people from China truly the richest of the rich?
They are all chartered flights. It was probably just the company that arranged to fly there... and bribed the right people on both sides of the border

Saw that Thailand has these Special Tourist Visas for 90 days. I have been seriously contemplating moving to Thailand for 90 days. I have been to Thailand once before and fell in love. I only have to go into work once a month and I think I can get the next few months off. I take online university classes as well though and I am slightly worried about the distractions.

Either way any advice or ballpark figures on cost of living for three months? I am looking at apartments in the Sukhumvit area close to the BTS. I need reliable internet for my classes so any recommendations on that would be appreciated. I know my money would be better off waiting till they reopen but who the fuck knows when that is. I want to take advantage of this online workplace stuff while I can.

If I can pull this off you will hear plenty of stories, no more sob stuff about how covid has killed things.
Your wasting your time and money. But if you decide to do it, you can get a nice place and live like a king on the BTS for $1200 a month. Add your mongering costs to that. Make sure you stay away for the central biz areas.

I walk past Thermae almost nightly, often around the 8pm-10pm hours. I rarely see more than 4-5 sullen looking girls in the 7 to 7.5 level range standing near the stairs waiting for it to open. A few times I have walked down, opened the door and never saw more than 10-12 girls in the place, maybe 2 old Asian guys sitting behind the center bar staring at their drink. Once I looked in at about 9pm and did not see one person in there except the drink servers and bartenders.

I have not seen any real lookers in or outside Thermae for weeks. There was a brief period where a few of them would stand outside since there was a greater chance of encountering a stray customer outside. But I have not seen that in a while. Not even on clear, cool evenings when it doesn't rain.

Maybe someone else has popped in and seen it crowded or worth the time lately.

The last time I walked down Thaniya Road was about a month ago. I think a couple of karaoke places were open with older looking girls than usual sitting outside. But there was nothing particularly notable about it that I can recall. Patpong 1 and 2 were dark and nearly deserted. Can't remember what night of the week it was though. Maybe that makes a big difference.

If I'd made my point as ridiculously absolute as you mischaracterized it, you would be correct about that flawed theoretical conclusion.

    But I didn't.

I offered to take her for LT because most often I prefer LT. She was fine with that, quoted 5,000, I countered with 3,000 and "boom boom no condom." She said Ok. I paid the 1,000 baht (weekend rate?) barfine and off she went to change into her street clothes.

The mamasan said something in her ear and gestured to me with a smile right before we left.

From then on it was one of the better, no hassle, no unpleasant surprises, smoothest and pleasurable LT sessions I have had in a while, especially since the post-lockdown bar reopenings. It was easily the best I have had with any of the Rainbow bar group girls. She left my apartment at about 8:30am after a morning round.

To whatever extent showing scammer girls the door and most certainly returning to the bar to politely complain to the mamasan and request a refund of the barfine, as you did, contributed to the unusually fine customer service I enjoyed last night and this morning, I thank you for being a much bigger part of the solution and not even a small part of the problem. Lol.

Seriously, as intimidating as it might seem to handle blatant bar and bargirl problems that way, it is not only worth it for our own benefit but for every customer that follows us.

    Random

Having just checked out the area a few minutes ago, there is Straps ladyboy bar at the top of the first set of stairs on the left, closed but still displaying an unlighted sign. Then Random go-go bar in the old Rainbow 3 location. Then there is an ornate new door set up next to the first step of the second set of stairs where if that is all you see you could conclude that Random did indeed expand into whatever was behind that door, presumably Chili's go-go bar, although there is no longer a sign for it on display.

However, look closer, go up 1-2 of those steps where that ornate door is mounted and you can see behind the new door is a small trashed hallway leading to what used to be Chili's entrance.

So the space that used to be Chili's is still back there and separated from the interior of Random, which has not really expanded its bar area into what was Chili's bar. Not yet anyway. Unless there is an interior passway and they are using it for storage, dressing room, lockers and so on.

As you see in my previous post I was right there in Nana Plaza last night and, you know, as I left my apartment I made a mental note to check that out. But damned if it didn't completely slip my mind when I got there. It's getting slipperier up there by the year. The thing is I never went to that corner of the Plaza last night, only to the opposite corner for Rainbow 4.
