Yes most places in Bangkok are open and with little or competition it's a buyers market. Just as a matter of interest as some friends of mine some who have lived here for over 20 years are stuck outside which "travel bubble"/ visa are you using to get in? If you are not married to a Thai, have a work permit, have organised medical treatment, are a permanent resident, are part of a Chinese travel bubble or making a major investment here can you please tell. That is a very tough question to answer, I try to read everthing available as to what is necessary to get back in if you leave or stuck outside. There are so many confusing articles and opinion for example ThaiiV articles about who can come in the probem you read the article it isn't clear for example you got the O-A so many people confuse it with the Non-Imm O Retirement Extension which I have you not need insurance but need to have a lump sum in the bank or monlthly deposit from oversea. The people responsding either close to dementia that the topic gets off course to a point you have no idea what the hell the original article was all about. And sadly that goes to the Thai Embassy themselves who can't seem to get on the same page.

People are tellling me I can get back in now with my Non-O but reading that might not be the case after a few lines they start talking about the O-A, for myself I married to a Thai but for reason of my own have nothing own in Thailand in my name regardless what method you use you still need to go through all the hoops and those hoops involved first get tested forward you request to the Thai Embassy to try to obtain a see. O. E. And that is the first step out of something like 10-12 items it is just crazy. It doesn't seem to matter if you want to come in on a medical, buy a condo, etc. You need to go through the hoops unless of course you are Chinese from the Mainline I guess I being Chinese American don't matter?

In the end, if I could I would stir the Thai leaders in the face and tell them to their face how the fuck does a government get by thinking in this manner!

Yes I guess I knew the girl kept all of her fees with possibly a bit of commission to a mamasan if the girl is new or mamasan finds girl a big spending sucker, er, John. Mamasan also gets tipped by some guys because mamasan brings them the "new" girl. A useless process imo because the "new" girl is usually just a girl from another bar who is not attractive. What I wanted to know was how much of the 2000 BF goes to the mamasan and how much does the bar take. Bar can not take 100%. If so, would mean mamasan is working for free and no chance mamasan would bring her harem to that bar.

As far as my own experience the mamasan doesn't get any of the BF, she is being paid to be the mamasan. I do know a numbe were getting paid or tipped by the girl who the Mamasan push on the customer and if the customer ended up BF through whatever was negotiated the girl would slip the mamasan something. I also know when clubs started to involve the mamasan paying up front this was a means to get into some of the action. Girl would say to a customer who doesn't challenge these are the prices and for how long set forth by the club if you want to BF I will call the mamasan.

I got sucked into tipping Mamasan the first couple of times I did a bar fine. My selected girl told me it was necessary and I fell for it.

The only city I know the split on is Jakarta where if you pay 360,000 rupiah for your 1 hour session this amount is split evenly between the bar, mamasan, and girl. So the girl makes 234 baht for a 1 hour session. That's less than 25% of a Soi 6 girl and the Indo girl is WAY better looking.

I guess it depends on one's understanding of what pimping is. You are correct about go go's and massage shops if you define it as the facilitation or provision of prostitution but the situation I was referring to and what I consider as pimping is more about where there is considerable exploitation and significant control over the girls. I am not saying this does not happen and there was evidence some of the girls at the now shuttered Nataree were in a form of debt bondage but by and large girls at go go's and other regular P4P venues are free to choose where they work and don't hand over part of their earnings to the owners.

Thanks for the effort and these reviews. Yes, I also had a suspicion the 2-3 Offdek girls whose photos and profiles I responded to on Line (but never booked) were NOT the people who chatted with me on Line and that it was instead some clerk, pimp, manager or whoever was available to reply at the moment. I alluded to that possibility in my mini review, too.

Imo, their refusal to engage in even 1 minute of video chat "just to say Hello" is a giveaway that we're dealing with someone very different in age, weight, looks and possibly gender and total DNA than whoever is depicted in those photos with pat answers to every request as far away from what I need and want as it gets.

I would say with at least 90% of them that's who you're dealing with. I have seen a few profiles that don't follow the standard format. One invited potential customers to discuss their needs first, another suggested video chat before booking for the benefit of both parties and another one was in both Thai and English and claimed she spoke English well. These are a tiny minority though and the women are probably 30+.

The impression I got with the first two girls was that they're definitely very much in control of their own lives. With the third one, the fact she refused to open the door even though her agent had already made the booking suggests she's also in control.

The image I have of the agents is of some guy sitting at his computer for 12 hours with 20 line accounts open taking a commission for each booking.

Tonight was my third and final time with Offdek and similar sideline websites. I saw a nice looking 19-year old with good reviews so I added her Line and received a Tiktok video that confirmed she's my type. The subsequent problems were a result of the nature of the Offdek system. The website profiles are obviously created by agents, often using identical wording. They also control the Line accounts and have no idea what is acceptable to the girls in terms of customers or services provided. And then there's the problem of double booking which I've seen mentioned in the customer reviews. So tonight, mindful of the fact that the second girl I tried wasted a lot of time before letting me in her room and counted the time I was waiting downstairs as part of the 40 minutes, I arrived 10 minutes early. The agent told me to wait. 20 minutes later I saw some old Thai guy come down and go to the carpark so that was probably the previous customer and 5 minutes later I got the room number. I went up, knocked on the door several times and could clearly hear somebody moving in the room after every knock but she didn't open it. I'm sure she looked through the peephole, saw a white guy and refused to answer. More fucking about with the line account just made it clear that it was indeed an agent who had absolutely no idea what was going on. So what Offdek has to offer is cheap but average looking women with a risk of looks and service that don't match the profile or worse still faffing about in a hotel for 30 minutes and looking like a total arse in front of the staff. I'm sticking to massage parlours in future. They are slightly more expensive but at least they change the sheets between customers.
