Also visited with my tour guide from last year (no sex) up in pargue 93, just intelligent conversation. Loosing interest in the "walk around" world. Doesn't mean I won't go there, just that quality people & memories are much higher value then the wild nights which quickly fade.

I hit the Colpatria ATM in immigration and took out 900,000 twice. It said there may be a fee, but also said that info was not attainable at the time from my bank? Anyway, there was $249.21 taken out of my Schwab account 2 times. So the exchange rate I received was 3611.41. At the same time, the XE app on my phone lists the exchange rate at a lower 3596.55.

I hear horror stories from back in the US about the virus surge. Glad I escaped. Thursday searching for closed casas and streets too dark to find them in the rain. Cab drivers are not dependable. Friday paranoid (respectable) Cab driver can't find Casanova or Lido (need a flashlight?) and when seeing police everywhere in Santa Fe says, "you are crazy to come here. " I say "yes I am". And assuming you're boning multiple pro women (who likely are boning many other guys whether they admit it or not), you are in way more danger in Colombia than you'd be in the US. Unless of course you fuck just as many hookers in the US as you do in Colombia.

Looks like they are re-instituting the PCR test Requirement (but this time within 48 hours of flying) and more importantly requiring a 14-day quarantine upon arrival. A judge order this late last week and the government has until tomorrow to challenge it.

Combo, that is not official. I have heard nothing from the airlines or our state department on this. I could be wrong but I am skeptical a single judge in Colombia wields this kind of power. This seems more like a partisan publicity stunt more than anything else. If you hear anything official, let us know.
