Does anyone know of a good spot on a Sunday night? I don't arrive until Sunday late afternoon, and want to get out there that night but hear a lot of Bogota is closed on Sunday night. Anyone have suggestions on where I should head? I'm staying up in ZonaT, so ideally something around there if possible.

Thinking of making the trip down to Bogota just read that Fiebre and some clubs are open. Are paisas and fiebre open everyday until 11 pm? They are two of my favourite places in the world. What about Sunday's?

And let us know the price of the take home fee as well please. When there in March the girls took between 150 - 200 k for the 4 hour stay.

Can anyone recommend a good AirBnB in Bogota that's GF friendly, preferably with good internet? Looking to stay for a month for less than $400. Any suggestions?

This is my standard question when searching AirBnB spots, anywhere in the world.

I search the area I want to stay in, choose 6-7 rentals that I like and copy and paste the following message to the different hosts:

"Hola David,

El Mechanico aqui de LOS Estados Unidos.

Estoy pensando en alquilando tu apto para mi viaje en Dec. Seria un problema si invito unas novias al apto? Solo una a la vez, no todo la noche, No fiestas, no drogas, no musica y todo respecto para las vecinos.

Gracias.

El Mechanico".

I have all good reviews from previous trips so a majority of the hosts either send the invitation to reserve or even better, respond with a message telling me it will be ok to bring gfs back to the rental. I reserve with someone who responds to the message so I will have something in writing saying it was ok. I know, this means nothing as I am a guest in their country but at least I know it is ok at the start of the rental.

More importantly, you will find out which ones do not allow chicas and you can eliminate them from your search.

Airbnb places are a constantly changing target, I've stayed in a few in Bogota but never really found guest friendly places. Best is to search directly on Airbnb. The month stay will eliminate many of them unless you are booking a way in advance (since good places tend to have some bookings in place already, and you won't get a full month). And read the house rules, they often say something about guests. And it would be best to check with the host as well. Many of them are in close proximity to the host's residence, and hosts with families may not want a stream of working chicas coming and going.

Anyway, good luck. I'm hoping to do something similar myself, and I know it ends up being a bit of work doing the search on Airbnb, but the only way to go.

I have seen the Hilton on some lists as a "girl friendly" hotel. Apparently not since COVID. You get your first visitor for free. After that, it is $39 per head.

I also learned that not all AirBnBs are created equal. I got one near the Tequendama. The owner said guests are fine. But the place is not very nice at all. Looks almost like a santa fe motel with rough sheets and limited hot water. I woke up this morning feeling gross and decided to head to the Hilton.

I don't know why it would surprise you that all Airbnbs are not the same?

I've RTFF, but most reports go back to pre-COVID. Any issues bringing chicas back in these days?

I had points and stayed at Bogota Marriott hotel, which is too much to pay for IMO on your own, and had no issues unlike my last visit pre Covid. Things have calmed down in Colombia with Covid compared to last time. My guess, and it is just a guess, is that you are not going to see many problems with bringing women back like there was.

I heard from another forum member that Bogota will undergo another lockdown on December 14th. I have not heard anything about this. Has anyone else? If its true, I'm probably going to change my plans up.

What time are they open? I think I will slide through there tomorrow evening.

I am not sure exactly and they are open on the sly as I said. I only saw one crummy club, I think it is San Francisco, was open when I went by at 2 PM. Then when we went at 8 PM, most of the good clubs were open but they shut down the streets and clubs at 11 PM.
