I have been to Holguin, Havana, Las Tunas and had no issues getting the key. The toughest is Holguin but I found a rare old man who only charges me $15 CUCs and gives me the key. The key for the gate to get inside his house and the key to one of the rooms. He has 2. His only rule is the chica has to leave before 6 am. One time in 2016 me and my buddy had 3 girls upstairs and they left at 6:10 am. The owner got a little mad because he's scared of the fuckin police (obviously) but since then we've been good friends. This was found via my Cuban friend and after 14 trips to Holguin.

One of my casa particulares did give me a key but kept a very close eye on me as they all do. The first time she knew I snuck in a chica she warned me the next morning with my breakfast. The second time she took away my key LOL. Told me to wake her up from bed when I came home from the bars. Of course I moved out that day and found a more understanding owner. But the one city I never could find an understanding apartment owner was Holguin. They are deathly afraid of the breaking the government's rules in that city.

But Harry you are sure your chica is a regular girl so she will have no hesitation registering with your casa. Problem solved! You are welcome.

Agreed. Havana can be awesome! My first trip to Havana was off the hook! I meet 3 young chicas who were from way out in the country and they were in Havana to make some Christmas money, wound up fucking all three of them. I've been back about 10 times since 2016, things started going downhill around 2018. My last trip in March of this year was disappointing, I,e, lack of descent food and beer, it was a struggle.

I have been to Medellin a couple times, completely different vibe. The girls have a harder edge, and the pace of Medellin is lightning fast compared to Havana. But still, some of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. I like Medellin, beautiful place, and it's definitely on my list to re-visit, as well as Cartagena.

Would you say Medellin is better than Havana chica / price / attitude wise?

Cuba can be amazing but have to know contacts and speak some spanish and be somewhat outgoing. Not point and click like Brazil, Colombia and so forth. But there are some GEMS to be found in Cuba.

Cartagena? Ok. Fair. But better yet, Bogota, Cali or Medellin. All have more options and less tourists. It's more of a pure scene. If you want the heat and the women, Cartagena is good, but so is Santa Marta. The ass in downtown SM on a weekend evening is on another level altogether.

IMHO Havana is where its at. There are tons of smoking hot light skin Latinas all over the place plus lots of sexy mulatas not to mention the beautiful black women. That is where I spend most of my time. There are all sorts of cool things to do and see with great beaches 20 minutes away. I also like spending a few days in Cienfuegos and Veradaro but nothing compares to Havana.

Exactly! Wonderful post. Havana is FULL of available beautiful chicas, for a GREAT price. There is plenty to do, and the nightlife doesn't end until 4 am or sometimes when the sun is coming up. Don't believe the hype about the chicas being afraid of the cops. Yes, some females are freighted by them, but definitely not the majority. Go have a blast and enjoy the sweetness of the chicas on the island.

It is not so easy. I was in Holguin a couple years ago. It is illegal to give the key to renter and allow a guest into the apartment without registering. Owner unlocks the door for you to enter and leave your apartment. I met a very nice woman and I brought her to my apartment. But she did not want to register and left. It was a horrible feeling. Next day I asked minimum 10 casa particulars if they give me the key to my apartment. They said no. They told me if they are caught, they lose their license and go to jail. It may work only if you go to her apartment and take care of business there. Also, people in Holguin doesn't want to be seen with foreigners. Overall, everything is difficult over there.

But if I have my own apartment with my own entrance, let's say some girl shows up at 4:00 pm or whatever after classes, knocks on the door, comes in, leaves at 8:00 am every day, how will the casa owner know? Will he be spying on me? Banging on the door demanding to know who is this woman and what I am doing with her? She is 19; we are both consenting adults.

I meet them just hanging out in bars and walking around Old Town especially at night. They will approach you and say hola or they will be sitting around in door stoops and whatnot and you approach them and just say hola. It helps a lot to speak some Spanish so you should learn some, it will be worth it. Also met one at Playas del Este when I was just laying around on a lounge chair and she was nearby and signaled to me. Also some of the pedicap drivers can hook you up with girls they know, just take a ride ask them. Most of them speak English. Some will have pics on their phone of the chicas. They are not pimps they just know the girls but you can give them a nice little tip if they deliver.

Actually I believe you (and the chica) would be fine if you have one girl (the same girl) registering with you at many different apartments or hotels. The government doesn't want one girl registering with many different men. Ask her if she understand that when you arrive in Holguin she will need to register with the casa or hotel you stay at. If she's a pro she will refuse to do that. If she's not a pro she should have no hesitation to register in their offical log.

Wow, interesting. I have actually been corresponding for months with this really gorgeous 19 year old medical student in Holguin. Of course online and real life may be very different, but I have a very good feeling about her. I'm sure that she doesn't want to be arrested for prostitution however. And I suppose neither do most other random girls on the street in Holguin, in case my online friend doesn't work out.

The question is, is Havana back to normal in any way regarding girls? It looks to me as if regular flights are going to start up around mid-January and even then, how many people will go considering that in many countries (including where I live) upon returning you need to go into two week house arrest (quarantine)?

Also, considering the crisis in Cuba, people need to eat, can't the police ease up on the girl situation? They are desperate for dollars. They did that in the late 1990's I have heard. Very good advice. I second everything APF said here. Newbies should learn Cuba in Havana first. You should actually be able to find a casa where you can sneak in chicas. And you should be able to find a bi-lingual helper on a pedibike or just walking around.

I think it's 50 CUC in each direction.

Also I am looking for a lighter skinned girl who is more of a sugar baby than a real prostitute. I was considering contacting them through Latin American Cupid, or just walking around Holguin and with Google Translate picking girls up and seeing what works out.

However is Havana better?

And does anyone know what is actually going on now, post COVID, since they have reopened the country on November 15? Perhaps Havana is empty because the girls have gone home to the small towns, therefore maybe Holguin would be a better option.

Be sure to load the offline version of google translate as you will often be without internet signal.

Viazul is the government's bus line and I traveled one end of the island to the other and I do NOT recommend it. If you want to visit Holguin then fly there from Havana. You can buy the ticket after you arrive in Havana at the Cubana Airline's office. I don't believe you will be able to find a casa particular where you can bring a chica unless the chica is willing to register with the owner of the apartment. And the chicas are not willing to do that because it's puts them on a list of prostitutes which is not a legal profession in Cuba and they can get into much trouble with the police. As I recall a third offense requires jail time.
