My experience in Gambia: Religion isn't important for the girls. Muslim or Christian doesn't matter. The only thing which matters is money. With money you can get all girls.

Got a Whatsapp full of 18-25 year old Christian girls eager to meet me. All 'good girls. ' Lots of Nigerians, Liberians. All claim to work and be looking for serious relationships. The few I propositioned directly and didn't play the 'I'm living in the country for a while, looking for a girlfriend' route shut me down straight away when suggesting pay for play.

Popular nightlife is along the strip in Senegambia, 3 bars there with freelancers. Time Inn being the main one.

Plenty of restaurants and a few regular bars.

Banjul is not up to much and not worth the visit really unless you are bored.

I spent a bit of time at Cape point, which seemed more upmarket and a nice beach.

It's very cheap and the girls were too, although generally I didn't find them attractive, I prefer slim.

It was difficult to get girls back into where you are staying, an apartment would be the best idea.

Gambia is looking attractive. Cheap cost of living, cheap flights, Visa on arrival that can be extended 28 days, minimal covid restrictions, Engish speaking and relatively safe (for Africa), more interest on AfroIntroductions than I can deal with.

A couple of questions for the old hands;.

Where to stay around Banjul? Senegambia is mentioned?

What's the going rate for girls? Short time and are they open to a 'holiday girlfriend' style relationship?

The prevalence of FGM is quite high and definitely something I'm not down with. By sticking to Christian girls, can I lower my 'exposure' (published rates are much lower)? Is it something you can ask the girls on line / in person?

Go to Kenya. No need to marry. Village marriages are not any more recognized automatic. New marriage laws now. They have to be registered. But it depends what you want. You can get a certified 18 years old virgin in Gambia. Of course you have to marry. Without marriage you have zero chance to shag. If you live there it may be different. As a tourist forget it. Usually you get by with english in Gambia and Kenya.

Time to post another report about a phenomenon I encountered so far in no other subsaharan country. The famous gambian virgin. I stay now 2 years on and off. And occasionally I encounter a gambian "virgin". Of course a lot of it is BS. Just to raise the stakes. Baseline is. Its a pain in the neck to deal with this problem. Of course they not let you fuck them outright. As they are. You guessed virgin. There is 2 types. The real and the fake virgin. The real virgin. You really have to marry her. But that's less hassle than it actually is. The advantage in Gambia is the so called compound marriage. Its a traditional muslim marriage. If you are not already muslim the local imam is very happy to convert you at short notice. That done you enter in negotiations with the respective clan elders. Usually you settle for around 7000 to 10.000 dal bride money a bag of cola nuts and some crates of soft drinks. The ceremony is NOT a civil marriage and as such not officially recognized by law. Therefore your bride to be can't rip you off in any way. Unlike Kenya where village marriages are recognized by law without any further procedure as a lot of guys found out to their detriment..

You forgot 2 important countries, maybe they are the best in Africa this time: Angola and Zambia. Don't be afraid to say it.

Angola has the most beautiful women in Africa and the devaluation of Kwanza has made Luanda even cheaper than Kampala.

Zambia, Lusaka also became a much cheaper city than Kampala in 2 years, it is for oil related reasons. I have never gone to Lusaka but I don't think there are uglier women than Kampala.

Lusaka is not there yet. The accommodation has fallen a lot over half in the last 18 months but budget options are still very limited and still, you will need $30 / day for anything decent. Would have been more like $50 a year ago. Maybe if you want to go monthly you can find some fixer-uppers. Compared to Kampala and Entebbe, it's even harder to find attractive women. The city is full of mediocre-looking specimens. Not sure if Livingston is significantly cheaper or not as I never went down there. Avoid bus from Zambia-Tanzania border. It's a hell ride. I did it both ways.

So many people in Zambia and elsewhere warned me how crime-ridden and dangerous Luanda is. Take care if you go there.
